English-speaking users of “X”: The ceasefire was a symbol of Iran’s authority and rationality

PNN – The ceasefire between Iran and the Zionist regime sparked a wave of reactions on X-Net; English-speaking users considered the ceasefire a sign of Iran’s authority and a clear retreat by Tel Aviv.

As news of the ceasefire between Iran and the Israeli regime spread, English-speaking users on the X platform (formerly twitter) reacted widely to this momentous event. Many of them not only supported Iran’s position, but also considered its actions a sign of authority, rationality, and independence.

Some users considered this victory part of the global struggle against American hegemony and the Zionist regime, and others, pointing to the Iranian people’s resilience in the face of pressure, considered this enemy’s retreat to be the result of national unity and the deterrent power of the Islamic Republic.

With the announcement of the ceasefire, images and videos related to the nightly celebration in Tehran became the center of attention for users.

Sharing a live video of the celebration, a user wrote that Iran is celebrating a great victory. The Iranian people are full of joy and are celebrating their victory in the war, Mashallah! They thank God for granting this success to Muslims who remained steadfast in His guidance. Unity and faith are the keys to victory.

A user posted two images side by side, one showing people celebrating and the other showing Iran’s powerful missile attacks, emphasizing that large victory celebrations are taking place across Iran.

“Iranian people celebrating after a great victory” was content posted by another user, which simultaneously depicted the joy of the Iranian people and the trampling of Trump’s alleged statement of “unconditional surrender.”

An African user who introduced himself as a “proud son of Africa” emphasized: “A victory for Iran is a victory for humanity.”

Many users reacted to the presence of General Esmail Qaani, commander of the IRGC’s Quds Force, at the victory celebration in Tehran.

One user wrote: The commander of the IRGC Quds Force, Esmail Qaani, is alive and well. This exposes Israel’s false claims during the war with Iran. Most of the officers that Israel claimed to have killed are safe and sound.

Another user pointed to the unique qualities of Iranians, such as their “tenacity” and “sacrifice,” and wrote: I believe that Israel could have reached a peace agreement. Iranians are a tough people and are not afraid to sacrifice their lives. Even if this peace is not sustainable, at least the killing will stop for a while.

Another user reposted anti-Zionist statements by Steve Bannon, former White House strategic advisor in the Donald Trump administration, who said: Netanyahu, how could you decide to start something like this when you couldn’t even stop it with nuclear weapons, and you knew you couldn’t protect your own people? Who would do something like this? What happened to all that propaganda for political regime change [in Iran]? This is a scandal and should not go unanswered.

Jackson Hinkle, a famous American media activist, also wrote, referring to the fact that “Steve Bannon admitted that the ceasefire was to save Israel,” and added: You see why Bibi (Netanyahu) cannot be trusted. This ceasefire was more to save Israel. That’s the hidden story. They went beyond their means. The situation for Israel, especially in Tel Aviv and Beersheba, was very difficult and heavy.

Another user published a cartoon showing Netanyahu and Trump reaching out to the Leader of the Islamic Revolution to establish a ceasefire and wrote: The reality of the ceasefire.

The content of the post by George Galloway, leader of the British Labour Party and a seven-term Member of Parliament, was also noteworthy, as he stated: Israel has rejected five UN Security Council resolutions calling for a ceasefire in Gaza and continued its genocide in Palestine. So why did it agree to a ceasefire in Iran?

The post continues with the answer given by Dr. Fouad Izadi, a professor of global studies at the University of Tehran, in an interview with Jeremy Scahill: The difference is in ballistic missiles.

He added: Because the people of Gaza are defenseless, killing women and children there costs nothing, and that’s why it continues. But attacking Iran costs money.

Dr. Izadi also rejected Benjamin Netanyahu’s claim that Israel accepted the ceasefire after achieving its goals.

He points to several major Israeli mistakes: overreliance on American defense systems, the inability to predict the speed of Iran’s military recovery, and the strategy of changing the political system that backfired and united the Iranian people, all of which made Israeli leaders deeply afraid of the consequences of continued tension.
