Lieberman admits significant damage from Iranian missile attacks on Israel

PNN – In an interview, the former Israeli Minister of War Avigdor Lieberman acknowledged the significant damage caused by Tehran’s ballistic missiles, referring to the 12-day war with Iran.

According to the report of Pakistan News Network, citing the Times of Israel, former Israeli Minister of War Avigdor Lieberman, referring to Iran’s missile capabilities, warned against Tehran’s preemptive attack on Tel Aviv and acknowledged that Tehran had inflicted significant damage on Israel with only 26 missiles.

Lieberman claimed that after the 12-day war between Israel and Iran, Tehran is now “obsessed” with revenge. He reiterated the Zionist regime’s threats, claiming that Tel Aviv will be forced to attack Iran again at some point.

Referring to the aggression of the Zionist regime and the United States against Iran’s nuclear facilities, he claimed: I can tell you what intelligence assessments and officials have said about Iran’s nuclear capability; they all talk about rebuilding Iran’s nuclear program within one to two years.

Lieberman’s claim comes as US President Donald Trump has claimed that Iran’s nuclear facilities were completely destroyed during US attacks.

According to him, Israel’s main concern right now is that the thought and mention of Iran is revenge, and in such circumstances, a second and preemptive attack would benefit Israel!

Claiming that this time Iran wants to strike first, he said that “Tehran’s efforts to revive its nuclear program are not hypothetical.”

Lieberman added: And what worries me most of all is their ballistic missiles. You saw what damage they caused when only 26 missiles landed inside Israel; now imagine if instead of 26 missiles there were 260 missiles; what would be left of Israel!

Previously, Seyyed Abbas Araghchi, Foreign Minister of the Islamic Republic of Iran, said in an interview with China’s CGTN, referring to the 12-day aggression against Iran by the Zionist regime and the United States: This is not a conflict; it is an act of aggression — an unprovoked aggression by Israel against the Islamic Republic of Iran. We had no way to exercise our right to self-defense, so we defended our country; here, on our land, we stood bravely and forced the invaders to stop their aggression and demand an unconditional ceasefire — which we accepted.

He emphasized: Of course, this ceasefire is fragile, and the reason for that is clear: no ceasefire from that regime (the Zionist regime) can be relied upon, because it has a very bad record. So we are fully alert and ready if this ceasefire is broken. But that is not what we want; it was not from the beginning. We did not want this war, but we were ready for it. We do not want this war to continue, but I say it again: we are fully ready for it.
