PNN – The Russian President, in a meeting with our country’s Foreign Minister in Moscow, announced that Russia is working to help the Iranian people.
According to the report of Pakistan News Network, citing Sputnik, on Monday, Iranian Foreign Minister Seyyed Abbas Araghchi met and held talks with Russian President Vladimir Putin in Moscow.
The Russian President said: Our position on the current events is quite clear. Our position is clear and the Foreign Ministry expressed it on behalf of Russia. You are aware of the position we took in the UN Security Council.
Putin emphasized that the unjustified aggression against Iran has no basis and that Moscow will work to help the Iranian people.

Pointing out that Russia and Iran have long-standing, good, and reliable relations, he continued: We are doing our part to help the Iranian people.
The Iranian Foreign Minister also expressed Tehran’s gratitude to Moscow for condemning the actions of the Zionist regime and the United States against Iran.
Araqchi added: Tehran considers the actions of the United States and the Zionist regime against Iran illegitimate and considers self-defense legitimate.
Araqchi emphasized that tensions in the Middle East are increasing due to attacks by the Zionist regime and the United States on Iran.
Abbas Araqchi arrived in Moscow on Sunday to meet with Russian President Vladimir Putin and is scheduled to meet and discuss with a number of senior Russian officials.
The Iranian Foreign Ministry announced on Monday morning that Iran expects Russia to play a role, especially in the Security Council, given the escalating tensions between Iran and the Zionist regime.
