Reuters: The funeral ceremony for the martyrs of the Zionist regime’s attacks on Iran.
The British media outlet quoted Iranian media as saying that the bodies of at least 16 scientists and 10 senior commanders, including Major General Mohammad Bagheri, Chief of Staff of the Armed Forces, Major General Hossein Salami, Commander of the Revolutionary Guards, and Major General Amir Ali Hajizadeh, Commander of the IRGC Aerospace Force, were carried on the shoulders of the people.
According to Reuters, the coffins carrying the martyrs’ bodies were decorated with their pictures and flower branches and full-blown flowers, and the crowd waved Iranian flags.
Iranian President Masoud Pezzekian and other senior figures attended the ceremony.
The report continued, referring to the Israeli regime’s accusations against Iran’s nuclear program: The International Atomic Energy Agency, which carries out inspections in Iran, has announced that it has “no credible indications” of an active and coordinated (nuclear) weapons program in Iran.
According to IRNA, the funeral ceremony of the holy bodies of several generals and commanders, nuclear scientists and civilians, some of whom were women and children, who were martyred in the Zionist regime’s terrorist attack, began this morning, Saturday, July 27, 1404, coinciding with the second month of Muharram, with the presence of military and state officials, various segments of the people, and the grateful and epic-making nation of Islamic Iran saw off the holy bodies of 60 martyrs of national authority and heroes of the homeland.
According to Brigadier General Hassan Hassanzadeh, Commander of the Greater Tehran Corps, a convoy of martyrs from various segments of our country’s people, including children, women, scientists, commanders and other martyrs, will be buried today. All necessary arrangements for holding this ceremony have been foreseen by military, law enforcement, medical and service institutions. After the funeral ceremony, the bodies will be buried in some of the Imamzadehs of Tehran, Behesht-e-Zahra (SA) and the cities.
On Friday morning, June 13, 1404, following the Zionist regime’s terrorist attack on Iran, a group of senior military commanders, scientists, and civilians were martyred, and thus the imposed war began.
The United States of America also attacked the three nuclear facilities of Fordow, Natanz, and Isfahan on Sunday morning.
After 12 days of enemy aggression against our country and the crushing responses of the Iranian armed forces to its evils, the Zionist regime was forced to accept a ceasefire on Tuesday morning.
