PNN – The CEO of Russia’s Rosatom company, stating that we will continue our work at the Bushehr nuclear power plant, emphasized that, like any other civilian facility, the Bushehr power plant is not protected against deliberate attack and that an attack on it would be catastrophic for the region.
According to the report of Pakistan News Network, Reuters quoted Alexei Likhachev, CEO of Rosatom, as saying: We hope that our message to Israel regarding the Bushehr nuclear power plant has been received.
The CEO of Russia’s state-owned Rosatom also stated: We are continuing our work as usual at the Bushehr nuclear power plant in Iran.
He told the Telegram channel “Yunashevlive” that this power plant is not a military facility and is not equipped to withstand attack by cruise or ballistic missiles.

Likhachev said the facility has a protection system against earthquakes, power outages and operator errors, adding that the plant also has backup generators and an off-site power supply system for situations where its power generation stops.
The CEO of Rosatom warned that a possible attack on the Bushehr nuclear power plant would lead to a catastrophe not only for Iran but also for other countries in the region and the Israeli regime.
Stating that there was no reason to attack the nuclear power plant, he stressed that such an action was completely unreasonable from a military and political perspective. It is clear that no uranium enrichment activities are taking place at the Bushehr power plant, as this is a completely civilian facility.
Following the Zionist regime’s terrorist attack on Tehran and a number of cities in the country, a number of military commanders, scientists, and civilians were martyred.
In response to the brutal attack by the Zionist regime, the Islamic Republic of Iran launched Operation True Promise 3 (last Friday evening) by firing dozens of missiles towards the occupied territories.
