The report continues, stating that the cost of damages to the occupied territories is several billion shekels, which is unprecedented. Thousands of requests for compensation have also been sent to Israeli institutions.
According to the report, Tel Aviv and the central regions have suffered the most damage, with the tax authority receiving 25,000 compensation requests. So far, only a third of these requests have been answered, and the process of fully assessing the damages will take several weeks.
