PNN – An analyst of regional issues stated that Iran was able to claim victory during the 12-day war, and said: How can Netanyahu talk about victory when he failed to achieve his goals?
According to the report of Pakistan News Network, citing Rai Al-Youm, Abdul Bari Atwan, an analyst of regional strategic issues, examined the winners and losers in the joint American-Zionist aggression against Iran in an article and wrote that this aggression ended with America’s quick request for a ceasefire.
He continued that a close look at the statements of Donald Trump and Benjamin Netanyahu, examining their body language and facial expressions, and viewing images of widespread destruction in occupied Palestinian cities such as Tel Aviv, Haifa, Ashdod, Ashkelon, and Beersheba, largely answers the question of the winners and losers of the war.

Atwan addressed Netanyahu’s 10-minute speech, which was definitely filmed underground, in which he claimed a historic victory over Iran and said that Iran would never obtain a nuclear weapon and that Israel had pushed back the country’s nuclear program for years.
He added: US President Donald Trump also claimed in statements that the US attack ended the Iran-Israel war and completely destroyed the nuclear facilities of Fordow, Natanz, and Isfahan, just as the nuclear attack on the cities of Hiroshima and Nagasaki in Japan ended World War III!
Atwan noted: The body language and facial expressions of Netanyahu and Trump, and their obvious frustration, show the opposite of these statements and prove that the winner of this war is the one who has received dozens of congratulatory messages from all corners of the world. This is while Netanyahu has not received a single congratulatory message, even from Israelis inside the occupied territories, let alone from Tel Aviv’s Western supporters and Zionist institutions in the West.
Atwan added: What historical victory is Netanyahu talking about, when he has not been able to surrender Iran, change its sovereignty, or even prevent Iran’s hypersonic missiles with multiple explosive warheads from landing in Tel Aviv and Haifa? Israel failed to protect more than 7 million Zionists who, as a result of the closure of Ben Gurion Airport, had no connection to the world and lived in shelters and subway tunnels for 12 days and nights.
This senior Arab analyst wrote that, unlike previous wars, the Israeli regime was unable to end this war in its favor in 6 hours or 10 days, and when it entered the twelfth day, Trump immediately called for a ceasefire to prevent further damage to the Israeli regime from the Khyber and Fatah missiles.
Atwan addressed Donald Trump’s anger over revelations by the country’s news media, including CNN that cited a classified intelligence report that revealed that Iran’s nuclear facilities suffered minor secondary damage. Atwan said the report exposed Trump’s lies about a final and historic victory in the war.
The article adds that Iran still possesses 400 kilograms of uranium enriched to more than 60 percent, and its centrifuges are fully operational, along with dozens of nuclear experts and scientists. He referred to the Iranian parliament’s resolution to cancel all cooperation agreements with the International Atomic Energy Agency and emphasized that this is proof of Iran’s power and that there is not the slightest sign of weakness or surrender in this country.
