US intelligence officer: Nuclear talks were US deception to attack Israel

PNN – A former US Navy intelligence officer stated in an interview: The nuclear negotiations were a US deception to attack Israel.

According to the report of Pakistan News Network, Scott Ritter, a former US Navy intelligence officer, stated in an interview with the Russian media outlet Sputnik: Months of US-Iran nuclear talks essentially gave Israel the opportunity for maximum surprise to inflict maximum damage, and these attacks have effectively become a joint US-Israeli attack on Iran.

The former naval intelligence officer continued: This (negotiations) was very carefully coordinated to give Israel the opportunity for maximum surprise to achieve maximum damage. Although the United States may not have sent resources or equipment to participate in this attack, it was closely coordinated with the United States, with US knowledge, and with US support. This was, by any definition of the word, a joint US-Israeli attack on Iran.

Scott Ritter emphasized that the Iran-US nuclear talks are “inconclusive” because Trump has proven that he is “unable to intimidate Iran into accepting US demands for zero enrichment,” adding that From a strategic perspective, the US president cannot actually move forward with “such a deal because of Israeli opposition to it, the opposition of some very senior Republicans in the Senate and Congress, and just general hostility to Iran’s enrichment program in the US.”

He added: We are now in a state of war with Iran, although war may not have been officially declared yet.
