Amnesty’s report appears to excuse Israel’s restrictions on Palestinian movement.
According to the Palestinian Information Center, the Palestinian Al-Ahrar Movement condemned and denounced the Amnesty International report on Thursday night, describing it as irresponsible and unfair, as it adopts the Zionist narrative and accuses the Palestinian resistance of committing crimes against the Gaza military division on October 7.
The movement emphasized that the Amnesty International report is a way out and a lifeline that is given like a golden ticket to the Zionist occupiers and their leaders to escape trial for war crimes and genocide committed in the Gaza Strip, which are currently under investigation in international courts.
The Al-Ahrar Movement added: “Such a report from an organization known for its independence, impartiality, and defense of human rights makes us seriously doubt the performance and loyalty of these international institutions and organizations and the extent of the influence of global Zionism on their performance, impartiality, and staff.”
The movement pointed out that in this report, the internationally guaranteed act of liberation was equated with the crimes committed by the Zionist occupiers and their fascist leaders, including genocide, ethnic cleansing, excessive use of force against civilians, including women, children and the elderly, and the destruction of infrastructure and all means of life, adding: Such an approach is a clear bias and open acceptance of the Zionist narrative.
The Al-Ahrar Movement called on Amnesty International not to drown in the swamp of discredit and dependence on Zionism, to withdraw from this unjust report, and to issue real reports from the heart of the crimes committed in the Gaza Strip and the West Bank, all of which have been elevated to war crimes, crimes against humanity, genocide and aggression, and not from the office of the fascist Netanyahu.
The Zionist regime launched a war against the Gaza Strip on October 7, 2023, with the two main goals of eliminating the Hamas movement and returning the Zionist prisoners from this region, but failed to achieve these goals and was forced to reach an agreement with the Hamas movement to exchange prisoners.
Accordingly, the occupation army officially announced the implementation of the ceasefire in the Gaza Strip on Friday afternoon, October 18, 1404, and announced: According to the agreement, Israeli forces will remain stationed in certain areas of the Gaza Strip, and movement from the south to the north of the Gaza Strip will be allowed via Al-Rashid Street and Salahuddin Road.
On Thursday, October 17 the Hamas movement also issued a statement officially announcing the achievement of an agreement to end the war in the Gaza Strip and exchange prisoners, but the Zionist regime has repeatedly violated it since the ceasefire was established, which has caused protests and a wave of international condemnation.
