A few days ago, Turkish media reported that 33 people were arrested in this country on suspicion of spying for Israel’s Mossad.

While the tension between Ankara and Tel Aviv continues as a result of the Gaza war, the arrest of dozens of people in Turkey on charges of spying for the Mossad has made news.

Anatolia news agency reported that 33 people were arrested in Turkey on charges of spying for Israel’s intelligence and special operations agency (Mossad).

According to this state media, Turkish security forces are also trying to arrest 13 other people on the same charge.

It is said that the Turkish police and security forces simultaneously conducted a total of 57 operations in eight provinces to arrest these people; The operation was carried out at the request of the Anti-Terrorism Office of the Istanbul Prosecutor’s Office.

Anatolia news agency reported in its report that these defendants were involved in espionage for Mossad, in actions such as identifying, monitoring, attacking and kidnapping foreign nationals living in Turkey, and they were part of the “international espionage” operation.
