Donald Trump is currently suing the Wall Street Journal and its owner, Rupert Murdoch, for $10 billion in damages over a report he published about his relationship with Jeffrey Epstein.

In the lawsuit, Trump is seeking at least $10 billion in damages, calling the Wall Street Journal report a “vicious lie, defamation, and malicious intent.”

The story began when the American newspaper reported on the existence of a sexually suggestive letter that allegedly had Trump’s name on it. The letter was included in Epstein’s 50th birthday album in 2003 and, according to the newspaper, was compiled by Ghislaine Maxwell, a notorious British socialite and close associate of Epstein.

According to the Wall Street Journal, the letter includes framed text with a hand-drawn sketch of what appears to be a naked woman and ends with the words: “Happy birthday, and may every day be another wonderful mystery.”

Trump has publicly denied authoring the letter and insists that the allegations are aimed at tarnishing his image. The Wall Street Journal did not describe the contents of the letter, but did not publish a picture of it or provide details about how it obtained the document.
