Liz Truss, who became Prime Minister on September 6 of last year and resigned from her position 44 days later, in the British House of Commons along with several other representatives of the conservative party of this country such as Iain Duncan Smith and Bernard Jenkin. Rishi Sunak asked the government to declare China a “threat” against Britain.

On Sunday, the English newspaper Sunday Times reported that a researcher who worked for the House of Commons and another man were arrested by British police in March on suspicion of spying for the Chinese government.

According to the Sunday Times report, this researcher worked on issues related to international politics and was in close contact with several senior members of the Conservative Party, including British Security Secretary Tom Tugendhat and Alicia Cairns, the head of the House of Commons Foreign Affairs Committee. He also had access to sensitive classified information.
