Afghan media outlets further pointed to the Taliban’s ties with India, saying: “The group benefits from Indian financial resources and transfers them to Indian proxies, including the Tehreek-e-Taliban Pakistan.”

Durrani warned that if foreign powers exploit the Taliban, the survival of the current Kabul government in Afghanistan would be questioned.

Afghan media outlets also reported that Pakistan’s former envoy to Afghanistan believes that the Taliban government’s internal cohesion and discipline are still intact.
