Power outage shuts down Tel Aviv-Haifa train for several days.
Israel Hayom announced in a news release on this matter that the Israel Railways Company announced this Friday morning that due to infrastructure problems in the power transmission lines, train movement in the central region (occupied Palestine) is experiencing difficulties, and in this regard, the Tel Aviv-Haifa route and vice versa will be closed for four days.
After a freight train collided with power transmission infrastructure last night, these lines are experiencing problems in two areas, and the repair work will take several days.
The collision of a freight train with power transmission cables in the Ganot intersection area south of Tel Aviv and the Had Fasal area between Khedira and Netanya caused the problem.
Initial assessments indicate that hundreds of meters of high-voltage cables have been damaged, and travel on this line is also very dangerous.
Relevant experts are trying to correct the problem and predict that the reconstruction of this line will take several days.
As a result of the incident, all train movements between Binyamin and Netanya to Tel Aviv station and the Lod station (Ben Gurion Airport) have been canceled.
Zionist officials refused to comment on whether the incident was intentional or unintentional, and only announced that they are investigating the cause of the collision.
