Saudi Arabia’s response to Netanyahu’s outrageous proposal.
According to Al Jazeera, the Saudi Foreign Ministry stated in response to Benjamin Netanyahu’s brazen proposal to expel the Palestinians from their land, saying: “We appreciate the stance of Arab and Islamic countries in opposing this plan and declare our firm opposition to such proposals.”
The statement continued: “The purpose of making these remarks is to divert public opinion from the Israeli occupiers’ ongoing crimes against their Palestinian brothers in the Gaza Strip. We emphasize that the Palestinian people are the owners of their land, not immigrants whom the occupiers can expel at any time.”
The Saudi Foreign Ministry added: “No one will ever be able to deprive the Palestinian people of their rights. A lasting peace will not be established except through rational thinking and accepting the principle of realizing the two-state solution. The extremist logic of the occupiers cannot understand the ownership of the Palestinian land by the Palestinians and its historical and legal connection. Based on this logic, the Gaza Strip was destroyed.”
Netanyahu had previously suggested that Saudi Arabia allocate part of its territory to the Palestinian people! A member of the Saudi Shura Council also suggested yesterday that the United States move the Zionists to Alaska and Greenland.
