The head of the Arab Parliament welcomed the efforts of Saudi Arabia and Oman to end the war in Yemen and establish a comprehensive and just peace in this country.
While welcoming the efforts of Saudi Arabia and Oman to end the war in Yemen, Adel bin Abdulrahman Al Asoumi, the Speaker of the Arab Parliament, emphasized that these efforts are a continuation of previous initiatives and the plan of the Persian Gulf Cooperation Council.
Saudi Arabia announced on Thursday that it has invited a delegation of Yemen’s Ansarullah Movement to travel to Riyadh and complete negotiations on achieving a comprehensive ceasefire in Yemen and a political solution to the conflicts in this country.
According to the report of the “Al-Nashrah” network, Al-Asoumi expressed hope that everything will move in the direction that Yemenis can end the war in their country after years of suffering and that efforts will be made to establish the foundations of the national government and develop its institutions, as well as facilitate the sending of humanitarian aid to All Yemenis should be done.
He also appreciated Oman’s efforts to bring the views of the Yemeni parties closer together.
