The Zionist regime’s continued aggression against Syrian territory.
Syrian news sources reported on Wednesday that an Israeli military convoy consisting of 10 armored vehicles entered the northern countryside of Quneitra in southern Syria through the road connecting the villages of Ain al-Nuriya and Khan Arnabeh.
The report stated that the convoy was stationed in an abandoned barracks and that reconnaissance aircraft flew over it. It further stated that another patrol consisting of four vehicles entered Tel Krom in the central countryside of Quneitra.
According to the report, an Israeli drone also targeted the position of the “Commando Regiment” in the “Jableh” area.
From the very first day of the fall of the Syrian government, the Zionists expanded their occupation of the Golan Heights and moved towards occupying the Quneitra province in southwestern Syria in the Golan Heights. While the Zionist army claimed that the regime’s occupation movements in Syria were temporary and to ensure Israel’s security, evidence shows that the Zionists intend to consolidate their occupation in Syria, similar to what happened in Palestine seven decades ago.
