The website of the US Department of Treasury announced in this regard: Today, the US Treasury Department’s Office of Foreign Assets Control (OFAC) sanctioned an individual and 3 companies (related to Yemen’s Ansarullah).
Today, the US Treasury Department’s excuse for this hostile action is “facilitating the purchase of weapons for the Houthis” (Yemen’s Ansarullah).
According to the announcement of the Foreign Assets Control Office of the US Treasury Department, an individual and 3 companies have been sanctioned for false and baseless accusations of supplying and smuggling weapons to Yemen’s Ansarullah.
The US Treasury claimed that these companies are based in China and Iran!
The US Treasury Department’s Office of Foreign Assets Control added that it has also sanctioned an entity and two ships associated with Ansarullah’s commercial shipments.
Among those sanctioned, the name “Sa’id al-Jamal” can be seen.
