Ansarullah: The negotiations with Riyadh were serious and positive

Pak Sahafat – A member of the political bureau of Yemen’s Ansarullah Movement called the discussions of Sana’a delegation in Riyadh serious and positive.

According to Pak Sahafat News Agency’s International Group, “Ali Al-Qahum”, a member of the political office of Yemen’s Ansarullah Movement, said that the delegation of the National Salvation Government of Yemen, together with the Omani mediator, returned to Sana’a after several days of talks in Riyadh.

Last Thursday, Saudi Arabia announced that it has invited a delegation of Yemen’s Ansarullah Movement to travel to Riyadh and complete negotiations on achieving a comprehensive ceasefire in Yemen and a political solution to the conflicts in this country.

After five days of talks in Riyadh, the Sana’a delegation has returned to Sana’a together with the Omani mediator to consult with the leaders of the Supreme Political Council of Yemen.

According to the report of Al-Mayadeen network, al-Kahhoum said: “The negotiations with Saudi Arabia were serious and positive, and there was optimism about the removal of obstacles and complications in humanitarian cases.”

In this connection, Mehdi Al-Mashat, the head of Yemen’s Supreme Political Council, said that the Sana’a delegation will return to Riyadh together with the Omani delegation to complete consultations with the Saudi side.

According to Al-Mayadin, Al-Mashat said that the Sana’a delegation in Riyadh will complete the talks held in Sana’a and Muscat.

The Saudi military intervention in Yemen began on April 6, 1395, with an air strike by a coalition of regional countries led by Riyadh, under the name of Operation “Storm of Determination” and later continued under the name of Operation “Restoration of Hope”. This war has caused thousands of deaths and injuries in Yemen so far.
