PNN – Over the past two years, the Zionist regime has used new and unprecedented tools to inflict maximum killing and destruction in Gaza, committing the most unprecedented crimes.
From the very first moments of Operation Al-Aqsa Storm on October 7, 2023, it was clear that the Zionist regime was taking a different approach than in past wars in Gaza. Israel had no regard for the number or identity of victims. At 10:00 AM on October 8, Israeli warplanes bombed five residential buildings at the Al-Trans intersection, the most populated area of the Jabalia camp, in dozens of airstrikes. At the time, it was said that the aim was to kill a group of captured soldiers along with other Palestinians, but the “collateral damage” included the killing and wounding of around 250 civilians and the disappearance of dozens.
On the evening of November 12, a month after the repeated killings of families in Gaza, the occupying army committed its first and largest mass killing and bombed the courtyard of the “Al-Ahli Al-Mo’madani” hospital in the Al-Zaytoun neighborhood in the center of the Old City of Gaza with a number of powerful bombs, resulting in the martyrdom of 471 Palestinian citizens.
On November 31, 2023, warplanes dropped 7 tons of explosive bombs on the Sanaida neighborhood, where tens of thousands of people lived in the Jabalia camp in northern Gaza. This massacre resulted in the martyrdom of 400 citizens and the injury of thousands, with hundreds of names listed as missing, and dozens of families, including the families of Abu Nasr, Abul Qamsan, Hejazi, Masoud, Al-Bahnasawi, and Akasha, being completely wiped out.

List of major Zionist crimes in Gaza
In the first year of the war, these massacres became a regular occurrence, as in that year alone, 10 major massacres were recorded, the most prominent of which was in the schools of “Tal al-Za’tar” and “Al-Fakhoura” on November 18, 2023, where about 200 martyrs died. These crimes include:
The first massacre at Kamal Adwan Hospital on December 16, 2023, was an attack on the Beit Lahia camp in northern Gaza, where the occupying bulldozers suddenly overturned dozens of tents housing hundreds of displaced people, burying them alive.
The Al-Maghazi camp massacre on December 24, 2023, in which about 70 Palestinians died as a result of a residential compound being targeted.
The “Flour Massacre” at Al-Nablusi Crossroads, where hundreds of hungry people died in early 2024.
The Al-Shifa Hospital massacre in late March 2024, in which about 300 displaced people were martyred in the hospital.
The great massacre of the Nuseirat camp in the center of the Gaza Strip, where about 240 Palestinians died during the operation to free Zionist prisoners.
The Al-Mawasi crime on June 13, 2024, in which about 90 people were martyred.
The bank is the new target of the Zionist regime.
In the first months, the occupying army took pains to provide justifications for destroying homes and committing mass killings, but later it no longer bothered to justify its killings.
During the first months of the war, the occupying army created a target bank using artificial intelligence and human intelligence. The important and novel point of this target bank is the presence of several times more Palestinian citizens than fighters on this list, which includes the following:
- Assassination of the families of all the martyrs of Operation Storm of Al-Aqsa.
- Analysis of the video content captured by random citizen cameras and posted on social media, and the assassination of the family of any civilian or military person who participated in or celebrated the Zionist captivity operation.
- Tracking and monitoring every phone SIM card whose presence was recorded in the settlements around Gaza or within a few hundred meters of Salah al-Din Street, adjacent to the border strip.
- Assassination of all the elements who participated in the operation and returned alive.
The catastrophic dimensions of genocide in Gaza
Today, the number of victims has exceeded 67,000 martyrs, including 18,592 children, 12,400 women, and 4,412 elderly people. Another 170,000 people have been injured, 4,500 of whom have had their limbs amputated, including 800 children and 450 women. The diversity of the groups affected by the genocide shows the level of negligence and even deliberate attacks by the Zionists in attacking all groups. In these attacks, 252 journalists, 1,411 medical personnel, 800 educational personnel, and 203 UNRWA staff members were martyred.
A UN report dated November 14, 2024, to investigate the Israeli regime’s crimes in Gaza, noted Tel Aviv’s use of artificial intelligence technologies, which are carried out with minimal human intervention in issuing firing orders. The report documented Israel’s use of 25,000 tons of explosives within 3 months of the start of the war, meaning that the occupying army used the equivalent of two nuclear bombs similar to those used in the bombing of Hiroshima and Nagasaki, Japan, between October 2023 and January 2024.
Extensive destruction of infrastructure in Gaza
While the human toll represents the most tragic aspect of the ongoing aggression against the Gaza Strip, the dimensions of genocide go beyond indiscriminate killing and include other barbaric acts:
The difference in this war is that the occupying army has deliberately and systematically destroyed the cities and neighborhoods of the Gaza Strip. The Zionist newspaper Haaretz explains that the Zionist regime is currently using large demolition companies to carry out the destruction in Gaza. According to the report, hundreds of bulldozers and excavators are working to make the Gaza Strip uninhabitable for years to come.
The Zionist occupying army left no intact educational center; during this period, 204 schools and 14 universities were completely destroyed, and 305 educational institutions were partially or severely damaged. In addition, the enemy systematically destroyed 36 health facilities, including 10 major hospitals, the most important of which were the “Shifa” Medical Complex in Gaza City and the “Indonesian” and “Kamal Adwan” hospitals in the northern Gaza Strip.
New tools in the Gaza genocide
During the two-year genocide in Gaza, the occupying army employed new means of killing that had never been used before in any modern war. Tanks, warplanes, and helicopters are no longer the only means of killing, but quadcopter drones have also been added to them. These drones are modern unmanned aircraft equipped with automated weapons and controlled by field operations rooms, performing several vital and highly effective missions, the most important of which are firing bullets, dropping explosive bombs, and even carrying out suicide missions by blowing themselves up in gatherings of citizens.
These drones were the deadliest and most effective weapons in the genocidal war, as the occupying army was able to impose fire control on cities and prevent residents from returning to them even after the end of military operations. These drones are also effectively used in psychological warfare, broadcasting voice messages, threats, and creating terrifying noises at night.
