American people: neither Biden nor Trump; We want another president

PNN – The Hill website, presenting a report of a joint survey by Decision Desk Institute and News Nation Network, wrote: Nearly two-thirds of American voters believe their country “needs another option” if they choose Joe Biden and Donald Trump as their party’s nominees. Also, more than half of Americans said they would vote for an “independent moderate candidate”.

According to Pakistan News Network’s report on Tuesday from this media affiliated with the US Congress, about 59 percent of registered American voters are not “very enthusiastic” or “not at all enthusiastic” about a rematch between Joe Biden and Donald Trump, according to the results of a Decision Desk poll commissioned by NewsNation. This survey shows that American citizens are still worried about repeating the scenario of the 2020 elections and the confrontation between the two current and former presidents.

The poll also asked voters who they think will win in a possible rematch between Trump and Biden in 2024. About 43% of respondents predicted Trump’s victory and about 33% predicted Biden’s victory.

Hill added: According to a new survey by the Center for American Political Studies at Harvard University and the Harris poll, Trump can defeat Biden even with the hypothetical presence of the independent candidate Robert F. Kennedy Jr. in the 2024 election. The poll showed that Trump has a 7-point lead over Biden, 48% to 41% respectively. With Kennedy added to this mix, Trump’s lead increased to 8 points. In this hypothetical three-way competition, Trump won with 41% against Biden with 33% and Kennedy with 18%.

With the addition of independent candidate Cornell West and Jill Stein of the Green Party in this hypothetical list, Trump’s lead over Biden increased to 11 points and he was in first place with 42 percent compared to the current president with 31 percent.

Most respondents to the poll still expressed concern about Biden’s age and his readiness to serve another four years in the White House, with 51 percent saying they thought Biden’s situation would “get worse” as commander-in-chief.

At the same time, the Biden campaign has tried to reduce these concerns by emphasizing the achievements of the current president and introducing Trump as a threat to democracy.
