A new survey by USA Today and Suffolk University shows that the gap in the perception of American citizens regarding what is called the role of Washington’s administration in global equations has increased sharply. This survey shows that 46% of American citizens want Washington to play a special role in international and global crises, while 47% of them are against this role and, on the contrary, support the centralization of America within the borders. The situation of the problem in such a situation is quite clear: the innovative or combined doctrines of the likes of Trump and Biden will not only result in Washington dominating different parts of the world, but will also be considered as a catalyst and an accelerating factor in the international isolation of the United States. A truth that sooner or later the hidden and open lobbies of power in Washington will face. The costs of American interventionism in the Ukraine war and the Gaza war are examples of these big failures.
