The army of the occupying regime continues its brutal attacks against the civilian centers of Gaza for the 15th day in a row, and the number of Palestinians who have been martyred due to the bombings of the Zionist enemy has reached 4137 and the number of wounded has reached more than 13 thousand people after two weeks. As a result of running out of fuel and medicine reserves and the failure of more than 7 hospitals and dozens of medical centers in the Gaza Strip, the possibility of treating the wounded has decreased and the number of martyrs is still increasing.

5,500 residential buildings in Gaza have been destroyed

“Salama Maruf”, the head of the state media office in the Gaza Strip, announced that due to the barbaric aggression of the occupiers, more than 5,500 residential buildings, including 14,200 units, have been destroyed. Also, about 133 thousand 370 residential units have been damaged, among which 10 thousand 127 units are uninhabitable. 62 government institutions and dozens of public services and facilities have also been destroyed.

The martyrdom of 16 journalists in the Gaza Strip

On the other hand, the International Union of Journalists announced last night in a report that 16 journalists have been martyred since the beginning of Israel’s aggression against the Gaza Strip.

Last week, Essam Abdallah, a Lebanese reporter and photographer for the Reuters news agency, who was covering war news in southern Lebanon, was martyred as a result of the occupation regime’s attacks on Lebanon’s southern borders.

In continuation of its report, referring to the occupation regime’s deliberate aggression against journalists in the Gaza Strip, the International Union of Journalists announced that Nidal Al-Wahidi, a reporter of An-Najah Network, and Haitham Abdul Wah, one of the photographers who went to Gaza to cover the news, have been cut off from the relevant media centers. and the family of Nidal Al-Wahidi reported that the army of the occupying regime detained him.

World Health Organization warning about the closure of Gaza hospitals

On the other hand, the World Health Organization, referring to the catastrophic health situation in the Gaza Strip, announced that hospitals lack electricity, fuel, and equipment.

In an interview with Al Jazeera, the spokesperson of the World Health Organization said that it should be ensured that medical facilities hospitals, and medical staff in the Gaza Strip are not targeted by attacks and that there is a big problem regarding the capacity of hospitals. If medical aid does not arrive, hospitals will be completely out of order and patients will be in danger.

He stated that the number of martyrs and injured people is constantly increasing as a result of continuous bombings and emphasized that the attacks on Gaza must be stopped immediately and these attacks have very terrible consequences.

The spokesperson of the World Health Organization warned about the environmental and health consequences of the occupying regime’s encroachments on the Gaza Strip and emphasized that we need safe crossings for medical equipment to reach Gaza and political solutions should also be adopted for medical facilities to reach the Gaza Strip. Currently, medical teams in Gaza are dying to treat patients with the least available facilities. In the first stage, the bombing should be stopped and then the equipment should be brought in.

This official of the World Health Organization emphasized: We are not part of the negotiations to create safe crossings for aid to reach Gaza, and the relevant parties must do their duty in this regard. Everyone should take serious action to reduce the suffering of the people of Gaza in the shadow of this war.
