Atwan: Issuing the 18-page Hamas document about the Al-Aqsa storm operation was done at the right time

PNN – The famous analyst of the Arab world praised the publication of the document issued by Hamas regarding the Al-Aqsa storm operation and called this document as the road map of Hamas.

According to Pakistan News Network (Tuesday), “Abd al-Bari Atwan”, a well-known analyst of the Arab world, said in an article in Rai Al-Youm, referring to the 18-page Hamas document about the Al-Aqsa storm operation: The document that Hamas published in Arabic and English languages was at the right time and in response to many false claims of the Zionist occupation, especially the claims that were raised against Hamas in the first days of this operation.

He wrote: Issuing this document was the ultimate wisdom and the ultimate policy, and after a hundred days of the Zionist regime’s war against Gaza, it serves as a link between the two political and military wings of Hamas and shows the existence of elites who are able to crush Israel’s claims.

He mentioned this document as neutralizing all the false narratives of the Zionist regime about the Al-Aqsa storm operation and the narratives of some western countries.

This analyst of the Arab world further emphasized, “The Al-Aqsa storm was and will be an unprecedented historical victory for Palestine, because it shook the foundations and pillars of the Zionist regime and questioned the security deterrence of this regime.” Al-Aqsa storm operation was excellent in terms of design and execution; it was the first time that the war was dragged into this regime.

He said: In the Arab and Israeli wars, Tel Aviv usually won the war within a few hours or days, but in this war, the Zionist regime failed to destroy the resistance and resorted to killing thousands of women and children.

In the end, Atwan wrote: Issuing the document of Hamas at this time was like a road map of Hamas and communicating intelligently with its supporters on the one hand and crushing all the lies of the enemies in the second place, and this document adds to the popular base of Hamas.

The Hamas movement issued an 18-page document titled “This is our narrative…why Operation Storm Al-Aqsa?” announced about the formation of resistance operations against the Zionist regime: The battle of our nation with the occupying and colonial regime did not start on October 7th, but it was started 105 years ago and as a result of the occupation. Our people lived under the British colonial rule for 30 years and under the occupation of the Zionist regime for 75 years.

Hamas added: Our nation has suffered from all kinds of oppression, injustice, confiscation of basic rights and apartheid policies for decades, and the Gaza Strip has been suffering from a suffocating siege for more than 17 years, turning it into the world’s largest open-air prison.

Hamas added: The Gaza Strip has suffered five devastating wars, and each time Israel was the initiator. From 2000 to September 2023, the occupying regime martyred 11,299 Palestinians and injured 156,768 others, most of whom were civilians.

Another part of the Hamas message about the reasons for the start of the Al-Aqsa storm operation also states: The Al-Aqsa storm operation was a necessary step and a natural response to confront the plans designed to destroy the Palestinian issue. This operation was also to counter the plans of “Israel” to dominate the Palestinian land, to Judaize it and to take control of Al-Aqsa Mosque.

Hamas added: “Al-Aqsa Storm” was necessary to end the unjust siege of the Gaza Strip and a natural step in the framework of liberation from the occupation. Operation Maqamat was also a natural step to achieve independence and freedom like other nations of the world and the right to self-determination.
