PNN – Arab world analyst Abdulbari Atwan praised Yahya al-Sanwar, the leader of Hamas in Gaza, and Mohammad al-Dhaif, the commander of al-Qassam battalions, and wrote that these two forces are deterrence, security, stability, military superiority, alignment and international support.
According to Pakistan News Network, in an article in Ray Elyoum, Atwan said about the developments after the ceasefire in Gaza: It may be too early to discuss the assessment of the first fifty days of the Zionist enemy’s attack on Gaza and its consequences; But what can be said so far is that Al-Sanwar, the engineer of this war, has achieved all his demands and has acted with complete cleverness.
He writes: Al-Sinwar and his right arm, Muhammad al-Dhaif, the military commander of al-Qassam battalions, managed this war well and surprised both enemies and friends. And against the ruling triangle of the Zionist enemy, namely “Netanyahu, Gantz and Gallant”, they acted with a vengeful mentality and made them suffer heavy losses in the military, political and diplomatic dimensions. They did not achieve any of the goals for which they launched the war, including the destruction of Hamas and other resistance groups after 47 days of “barbaric carpet bombing” of civilians.
He continues: What distinguishes the current war in Gaza from all previous Arab wars against the occupiers is in its leadership and command. We are specifically talking about Palestine, which for the first time in decades has a leader with all the characteristics, and he is al-Sanwar, who shocked the occupying regime and its generals before its politicians, as well as Joe Biden and his generals.
Atwan writes: One of the distinctive characteristics of Al-Sinwar is his high decision-making ability and the execution of war after the appropriate military and intelligence preparation, along with the element of surprise.
Referring to Al-Sinwar’s intelligence strength, he adds: As one of the sources very close to the Al-Qassam battalions commander told us; Even the leadership outside of Hamas was not involved in the October 7th attack and was not even prepared for this operation.
Atwan then pointed out the problem of the past hundred years of the Palestinian nation, especially since the “Balfour Declaration” in not having a far-sighted leader who has the tact of management and leadership and good preparation and not being afraid of enemies with military power and international and regional support.
This analyst continues: Al-Sanuwar and Al-Dhaif are the ones that the Palestinian nation needs at the present time, and their first victory in penetrating the depth of the enemy did not happen in the five previous major and minor Arab wars. These two, i.e. Al-Sanwar and Al-Dhaif, all that this occupying regime was based on, that is; Shock, deterrence, security, stability, military superiority, alignment and international support of the Zionist regime were blown away.
This analyst adds: All the Israeli and American intelligence services and their satellites failed to determine the location of Al-Sinwar and his operation room, as well as their underground missile and drone factories. Until yesterday, the occupiers said that the Al-Sanwar operation room is under the Shefa hospital, and today they say that it is in the south of Gaza, and this shows the peak of confusion and maybe they are preparing for a new war of ethnic cleansing, for which they will pay a heavy price.
He continues: We cannot predict that after the end of the temporary truce, the war will resume or the truce will be extended; Although we give the possibility of the second option, what is important is the existence of brave leaders who have a united popular base and represent a new stage of resistance culture. This is the reason for the Israelis’ concern. Al-Sanwar is definitely happy after imposing his conditions. The time has come for the rise of resistance with the support of the Arab and Islamic Ummah.
