PNN – Pointing out that Trump suffers from great madness; Abdul Bari Atwan wrote that the United States was forced to engage in direct negotiations with Hamas for several reasons, including the failure of its threats against the people and the Palestinian resistance.
According to the report of Pakistan News Network, Abdul Bari Atwan, a famous analyst of the Arab world and editor of the Rai al-Youm newspaper, in his new article examined recent developments in the Gaza case, from US President Donald Trump’s brazen threats against the Palestinian people to the news of direct negotiations between Hamas and Washington, and wrote: Trump’s threats to kill all residents of the Gaza Strip if the living and dead Israeli prisoners are not released proved that he is not only a racist terrorist, but also a mentally ill person who has lost his reason and emotions and is unable to behave like a sane president or even a normal human being.
Abdul Bari Atwan said to Trump: You idiot, are the residents of the Gaza Strip the ones holding Israeli prisoners?
The article states: When Trump says he will send the bombs, ammunition, and military equipment needed by Tel Aviv to carry out its mission in the Gaza Strip, which is to destroy 2 million Palestinians, he actually needs an ambulance to quickly take him to the nearest mental hospital. Even Adolf Hitler would not have made such threats with such impudence and arrogance. We see Trump’s madness in his thirst to shed the blood of all the people of Gaza using 2,000-pound bombs, even though he had previously promised them a beautiful future. There is a contradiction in Trump’s words that you can only see in mentally ill people.

This Arab world analyst noted: It is noteworthy that these threats were made after it became clear that Trump had sent his special representative for Israeli prisoners of war, Adam Boehler, to Doha to negotiate with Hamas officials to reach an agreement to release Israeli prisoners, both dead and alive. Therefore, it is certain that Trump’s threats were made for two main reasons:
First: The negotiators in the Hamas movement were not impressed or happy with the US move to break its siege on the movement and negotiate with it; rather, with their previous manliness and courage, they adhered to all their conditions, the most obvious of which was the need to commit to the full implementation of the ceasefire with all its provisions in three stages. The Hamas negotiating team also rejected all American, Zionist, and Arab pressure in this regard.
Second: It is a campaign that the Zionists, as Trump’s masters, have launched against him and his government, because Trump entered into negotiations with Hamas without prior announcement, and the Zionists believe that he has stabbed them in the back. That is why the cowardly American president wanted to win the hearts of the Zionists and make them happy by making such brazen and racist threats against the people of Gaza and the Hamas movement.
According to this memo, Trump resorted to direct negotiations with Hamas because he realized that Hamas was not afraid of his threats, nor of the gates of hell being opened upon it, nor of all the American plans, including displacing the people of Gaza and turning the strip into a real estate deal. Just as Trump’s threats to displace the people of Gaza failed and all the honorable people of the world, including European nations, realized the catastrophic consequences of this conspiracy, Trump’s latest threats, namely the threat of genocide of all the people of Gaza with American bombs at the hands of the Zionists, will also fail.
Atwan continued: The US’s direct negotiations with Hamas are not a gift or favor to this movement; rather, it is direct evidence of the recognition of the failure and failure of all the displacement and genocide projects that the US and the Zionist regime intended to impose on the Palestinians. The US has had similar experiences before, and in Vietnam, after increasing casualties among its forces, it was forced to negotiate. In Afghanistan, the Americans sat down at the negotiating table with the Taliban after successive defeats and human and material losses. This also happened in Iraq, where former US President Barack Obama withdrew about 160,000 troops from Iraq overnight in 2011.
Atwan concluded by saying: We thank the people of Gaza, both the living and the martyrs, who have stood for more than a year and a half against the genocidal war waged by the enemy. We are also grateful to the resistance leaders and fighters who managed the war with unprecedented creativity and completed the miracle of the Al-Aqsa Storm, as well as to all the supporting fronts in Gaza, Lebanon, Iraq, and soon in Syria, where a new resistance front will form.
