PNN – Martyr Yahya Sinwar has worked to cleanse Gaza of Zionist spies over the past years, which played a special role in the successful implementation of Operation Storm of Al-Aqsa and the stability of Gaza during the two years of war.
According to the report of Pakistan News Network, Egyptian writer and political analyst Abbas Abul Hassan revealed in a post on his social media page on X the details of the operation to clear the Gaza Strip of Israeli spies by the Palestinian Resistance Movement during the presidency of Yahya Sinwar.
He wrote that there is a big difference between the stage of the Zionist regime’s extensive security influence in the Palestinian resistance structure as a result of attracting a large number of traitorous agents inside Gaza and the creation of numerous assassinations among the fighters in the period before and after Yahya Sinwar’s release from the Zionist regime’s prison, and at this stage, Gaza was literally emptied of traitorous spies and agents of enemy intelligence activities.
Abul Hassan added in his note that this incident caused the Zionist regime to transform from a snake with a thousand eyes inside Gaza to a completely blind snake that writhes in the darkness. Yahya Sinwar established and presided over a system for monitoring and observing spy elements and literally eradicated and smothered the idea of treachery in Gaza.

He continued his article by emphasizing that if these elements were still present in Gaza, Operation Storm Al-Aqsa would not have been carried out and Hamas would not have been able to create that extensive network of tunnels.
Abbas Abul Hassan continued: Finally, without the purge of traitorous elements, Hamas could not have fought for two years and failed the Zionist regime’s goals of completely destroying it. Therefore, this event alone is considered a real victory for the resistance force.
He stated that Yahya Sinwar had monitored some of these elements during his long captivity and was aware of the interactions of the Zionist regime’s spies, and that during his activity in Gaza, resistance elements executed these spies by shooting them in front of the eyes of the people of Gaza.
Even before his captivity, Sinwar had made security fundamentals the centerpiece of his struggles. He began his political career in the early 1980s to become one of the pioneers in leading the resistance against the occupation. At that time, he focused particularly on intelligence and espionage agents who had infiltrated the Palestinian fabric. Sinwar considered these mercenaries to be the most dangerous and prominent tools of the Zionist occupation, who must be eliminated.
Sinwar established Al-Majd, the initial core of Hamas’ internal security system. While interrogating Israeli agents, the organization was also tasked with tracking down Israeli intelligence officers and security services in Gaza.
This Hamas leader strengthened his security capabilities in theoretical dimensions during his years in captivity. He developed his abilities in interrogating Zionist agents even inside prison.
Sinwar, who distinguished himself in his military and security work and was able to achieve the highest leadership positions in the Hamas movement, had a special command of the Hebrew language and produced many writings and translations in the political and security fields. Among his most prominent works are the following:
Translation of the book “The Shin Bet among the Elements,” which deals with the internal affairs of the Israeli regime’s domestic spy service.
Translation of the book “Israeli Parties in 1992,” which deals with political parties in Israel during that period.
The book “Hamas: Trial and Error,” which deals with the experience of the Hamas movement and its evolution over the years.
He also wrote a literary novel titled “The Thorn of the Carnation,” which tells the story of the Palestinian struggle from 1967 to the Al-Aqsa Intifada in 2000.
