PNN – Disarming the resistance is part of the grand plan of the Zionist regime and the United States in the region, and its failure to achieve it will not achieve the West’s desires. On the other hand, achieving this Western desire will lead to new colonialism in the region and the containment of the resistance axis.
According to the report of Pakistan News Network, the recent approval of the new Lebanese government regarding the monopoly of weapons in the government’s possession had only one meaning, and that was the disarmament of Hezbollah and other resistance groups in Lebanon. After the approval of this bill by the Lebanese cabinet, the government of this country is trying to announce that it has taken this action in the interests of the country and the Lebanese people and away from the pressures of the United States and the West. However, what is happening in the regional arena reveals the falsehood of this issue and the lies of the regional agents of the West.
Examples of US and Israeli efforts to disarm the resistance in West Asia
A look at the events of the last two years shows that disarming the resistance is part of the grand plan of the Zionist regime and the United States in the region, and its failure to achieve this will not achieve the West’s desires. On the other hand, the realization of this Western desire will lead to new colonialism in the region and the containment of the resistance axis.

The example of Syria before and after Assad
Among the members of the axis of resistance in the West Asian region, the government of Bashar al-Assad is in practice the most appeasing towards the Zionist regime. Since the beginning of the internal crisis in Syria in 2011, the Zionist regime has put targeted and non-stop attacks on Syria on its agenda. The number of these attacks – ranging from targeting Syrian interests and facilities to assassinating members of the resistance axis – reached thousands. During this period, at least until the fall of the Bashar al-Assad regime, the Syrian government did not respond to the Zionists, but this did not stop or even reduce the Zionist regime’s attacks on Syria.
After the fall of the Bashar al-Assad regime, the new Syrian government – which came to power with an American agenda and by one of America’s agents in the region – officially took an anti-resistance stance and aligned with the Zionist regime? But this approach not only did not stop the Israeli regime’s attacks, but also took the opposite path. In heavy attacks on Syria, the Israeli regime destroyed the country’s entire military infrastructure.
The example of Lebanon after the ceasefire
Another example of Zionist opportunism in the region is in Lebanon itself. Since the fall of last year, when it officially launched its attack on southern Lebanon and the war against Hezbollah, the Zionist regime has been trying to destroy the Lebanese Islamic resistance. This Israeli effort was carried out with the heaviest military attacks on a small area in southern Lebanon, but it failed to stop Hezbollah. Even after the martyrdom of Sayyed Hassan Nasrallah, the late Secretary General of Hezbollah in Lebanon, this process did not come to fruition. On the contrary, after the martyrdom of the Secretary General and the commanders of the Radwan Battalion, when the Zionists entered the stage of the ground attack on Lebanon, they encountered heavier resistance and were unable to bring this stage to fruition. Ultimately, the Lebanese government’s ceasefire with the Zionist regime gave the Zionists the opportunity to escape the pressure of Hezbollah’s missile and drone attacks.
The example of Yemen
From the very first days of the Zionist regime’s attack on the Gaza Strip, the Yemeni armed forces began to take action against the Zionist regime in the Red Sea. These attacks not only continued, but also escalated to direct missile and drone attacks from Yemen on the occupied territories. Currently, Yemen’s Ansarullah is continuously targeting the occupied territories with its long-range missiles and has also intensified operations against the Israeli regime’s shipping.
This is while the Zionist regime has targeted numerous facilities in Yemen in several waves of attacks. The notable point is that Yemen’s steadfastness against the Zionist regime caused European countries and the United States – which had formed a coalition to confront Yemen in the Red Sea – to flee the region to be safe from Yemeni attacks.
The example of Iran
In the Zionist regime’s attack on Iran in June 2025 – which led to a 12-day war between Iran and the regime – the Zionist regime’s estimate was that by launching a surprise attack and targeting Iranian military commanders, the regime could do one of two things: Either overthrow the regime in Iran or convince the regime to give in to the demands of the Zionist regime and the United States through the blows it inflicts on Iran. However, Iran’s fierce resistance and the heavy blows it inflicted on the Zionist regime have caused this regime to seek a ceasefire and an end to the war since the middle days of the war.
The example of Gaza
The more precise and striking example of the two above is that of Gaza. The Zionist regime is on the verge of the second year of its attack on the Gaza Strip. During these two years, the Zionists have destroyed Gaza’s entire infrastructure. Today, Gaza is on the verge of a humanitarian catastrophe. But the people of Gaza have not stopped supporting the resistance, which has prevented the Zionist regime from implementing the Gaza evacuation plan, which is supported by the West and the United States.
Examining all the above examples brings to mind an obvious conclusion: the Zionists understand nothing but the language of resistance, and whenever the resistance backs down even a little or is forced to change its combat and resistance-seeking strategy through the Zionists’ multi-layered deceptions, that day should be considered the finish line of the resistance.
