PNN – Foreign users on social media, recalling the U.S. president’s support for the massacre of thousands of children in Gaza, labeled his crocodile tears for Iranian protesters as a ridiculous display.
In a recent outburst, U.S. President Donald Trump posted a message on social media, writing: “If Iran fires upon protesters and violently kills them, the United States will take action in their support.”
The U.S. president, while today using insolent and hypocritical rhetoric to claim support for peaceful protests in some Iranian cities, had previously responded to widespread demonstrations against him across the United States by releasing a strangely content, AI-generated video. In this video, Trump, wearing a crown, is seen aboard a fighter jet that, while flying over “No to the King” protesters who appear gathered in Times Square, bombards them with a “brown liquid.”
Trump’s remarks about intervening in Iran did not only provoke negative reactions from patriotic Iranian users; individuals from various languages and countries also condemned these statements online.
Users pointed to Trump’s recent meeting with Benjamin Netanyahu, the prime minister of the Zionist regime, declaring the U.S. president a puppet of this regime and assessing his positions as stemming from this meeting.
Social media users reminded of American people’s protests against inflation, immigration policies, and other actions of the Trump administration, and denounced the suppression of these protests through the deployment of the National Guard, while simultaneously shedding crocodile tears for peaceful gatherings of Iranians, as hypocritical.
Following are some reactions from users on the social media platform “X” to Trump’s anti-Iranian tweet.

The security of the region is tied to the security of Iran; if Iran is not secure, the Arab countries of the Persian Gulf will not be secure either.

As for America and Israel, the whole world has seen how they brutally deal with demonstrators. Then they lecture about the right way to deal with Iranian demonstrators.

Trump’s brazen statements that the United States is prepared to intervene in Iran’s internal affairs are an outrageous and dangerous escalation of tensions that must be condemned in the strongest possible terms. This warmongering rhetoric threatens to plunge the region and the world into another catastrophic war that the American people strongly oppose.

Trump is Bibi’s puppet. He will do anything for money.

I tell the people of Iran to distinguish between legitimate demands and cooperation with their enemies. Never accept betrayal. Maintain peace and unity.

Gaza was completely destroyed and Syria’s minorities are living in a holocaust, but none of this has awakened Trump’s conscience. But the protests in Iran, for which his own sanctions are the main reason, make him a supporter and defender of the protesters. What a farce!

Iran has the right to defend itself against aggression by Israel and its puppet regime in Washington.

These savages are again threatening the oldest civilization in the world. Iranians must understand that these evil people never come to save anyone; they only come to plunder and massacre. Libya, Iraq, Afghanistan and Vietnam are prime examples.

Donald Trump will remain the sole agent of world war, not peace. He has no right to interfere in Iranian affairs.

Condemning Iran while justifying the repression and abuses of the US Immigration and Customs Enforcement and police is not leadership, but selective morality.
