Hezbollah: All strategic bases of Israel are in our crosshairs

PNN – The head of the Lebanese Hezbollah Executive Council emphasized that there is no Zionist base that is not in Hezbollah’s crosshairs, and said that we will target any headquarters or base that poses a danger to our people and our country.

According to the International group of Pakistan News Network, Hashim Safiuddin, head of the Lebanese Hezbollah Executive Council, called the attack by the fighters of this movement on the Zionist military base “Maroon” an “initial response” and warned that the Zionists should wait for the next attacks.

Safiuddin considered this attack as part of Hezbollah’s response to the martyrdom of Saleh al-Arouri, one of the leaders of the Hamas movement, and said: In order to defend our people and our land and defeat this enemy and preserve the equations for which we have given blood, the answer [to Israel] was necessary.

On Monday night, January 2nd, the Israeli army targeted the office belonging to the Hamas movement during a drone attack in the southern suburbs of Beirut and killed Saleh al-Arouri. Lebanon’s Hezbollah, in response to the assassination of the deputy head of Hamas’s political office, emphasized that this crime will not go unanswered.

Al-Nashrah news website reported, quoting Safiuddin, that Hezbollah’s attack on the Maroon base has important dimensions; Because this base is located in the highest heights of occupied Palestine and the Zionists thought that it was not under attack.

Continuing his analysis of this attack, he said: Many radars are located in this base, and in a way, it plays the role of supporting the Israeli Air Force, which targeted the suburbs of Beirut. This attack is a kind of attack on the air force that bombarded this area, and this is also a direct message [to Israel].

Emphasizing that there is no Zionist base that is not in Hezbollah’s crosshairs, Safiuddin pointed out: If Israel thinks that Hezbollah will not target its main and strategic bases, we say that we will target any headquarters or base that poses a danger to our people and our country.

Arab affairs analyst Oliver Levy called Hezbollah’s attack a “precise missile strike” and said: Today’s important issue is Hezbollah’s attack on the air control center in Maroon; An attack that went through our air defense system and questions about it continue.

Political circles in Tel Aviv, who complain about the inaction of Benjamin Netanyahu’s cabinet, are interested in the consultations of the American envoy. Israel TV Channel 13 reports, quoting informed sources, “Government officials believe that there is no more room for optimism regarding the American efforts to reach a political agreement with Lebanon after the heavy Maroon rocket rains.”

Yediot Aharanot newspaper’s military correspondent Yossi Yehoshua writes in an analysis that Hezbollah targeted a strategic center in Israel, and this requires a proportionate response; According to the interpretation of the heads of the regional council in the north, Hezbollah is fighting unilaterally with our military.
