PNN – Daniel Hagari: Today, psychological warfare has become one of the inseparable dimensions of war and military conflicts, the lower the level of political units achieving the goals set on the battlefield, logically, the amount of recourse and the need for psychological warfare and lying increases.
According to the International group of Pakistan News Network, in recent months, with the Gaza war turning into a quagmire for the Zionist regime, we have seen many claims made by Israeli authorities, especially General Daniel Hagari, the spokesman of this regime’s army, in order to justify the occupation and barbaric actions of the Israeli army, or the strikes and injuries inflicted on it.
But Iran’s retaliatory operation against the Zionist regime on April 14, 2024 intensified the Zionist regime’s need for concealment and false justifications. In order to justify this strategic failure and the weakening of Israel’s deterrent power against the Islamic Republic of Iran, Hagari has put forward interesting lies that remind one of Joseph Goebbels, the propaganda minister of Hitler’s government in Nazi Germany.
Goebbels claimed that in the propaganda industry, the bigger the lie, the more believable it is. It seems that the Israeli army and especially Daniel Hagari have also based this technique on their activities.
It might not be an exaggeration to say that the claim of “interception of 99% of Iran’s missiles and drones” in the first hours of the True Promise operation was the biggest lie that was uttered by Hagari during the nearly 200 days since the beginning of the Gaza war.
This claim can be fully verified through a quantitative analysis of the number of Iranian missiles and drones in the revenge attack on April 14. According to Western media, the total number of Iranian missiles and drones in this operation was between 320 and 350. With such an assumption, if we accept Hagari’s claim, we have to accept that only three Iranian missiles or drones hit the targets, but even the western international media and some Israeli media reported that Iranian missiles hit at least 6 points in the occupied territories; These 6 points are Ramon base, Navatim base, Arad area, West Quds area, Umm al Fahm and occupied Golan. Also, the number of encounters based on the videos is much higher than Hagari’s claim, in only one of the videos dedicated to the Novatim base, 7 encounters are depicted.
The second remarkable lie of Hagari and the Israelis during the battle of al-Aqsa storm and the Israeli army’s campaign to Gaza, especially the medical and health centers of this barricade, was the claim of the existence of the headquarters of the Hamas command under al-Shafa hospital. The propaganda apparatus of the Israeli army made a lot of advertisements in this case, and in order to create awareness in this case, a cartoon mockup was also broadcast by the Israeli army, which showed the existence of the command headquarters under this hospital. These efforts were made with the aim of justifying the next attack of the occupying army on this hospital, but after the attack and occupation of the hospital, the Israelis could not prove the claim of the existence of the central command headquarters under this hospital.
The third big and shocking lie of Hagari and the Israeli army during this period was the claim that 40 babies were beheaded by members of the Palestinian resistance groups on the day of the Al-Aqsa storm operation on October 7th. Hagari showed pictures in this regard, which claimed that the said babies were beheaded, but due to human reasons, the pictures of the said children were blurred and blurred. This lie of Hagari and the Israeli army was also exposed through a reverse search in search engines; Because the images claimed by Hagari were already available on the Internet and the Israeli army tried to retouch and abuse them for their propaganda exploits against Hamas and other Palestinian resistance groups.
Also, at one stage, Hagari reduced the number of dead by 100 people and claimed that these 100 people were among the Palestinian forces who were mistakenly considered Israelis, while all the Palestinian forces who participated in the October 7 operation wore uniforms for resistance groups.
Another scandal occurred in the same context regarding the number of Israeli wounded. About 10 days ago, Hagari estimated the total number of injured Zionists to be 1,593, while Haaretz newspaper called Hagari’s figure a lie in a report and wrote: Since October 7, 2023, 1949 people have been admitted to Barzalai Hospital. Also, 137 people in “Esuta” hospital in Ashdod, 148 people in “Ikhilof”, 181 people in “Harambam”, 209 people in “Hadasa”, 287 people in “Bilinson”, 139 people in “Shaari Tasdak”, 1000 people in “Sorukah” hospital and about 500 people have been admitted to “Shibah” hospital, although this list is only a handful of Israel’s military wounded.
