PNN – The results of a research report show that the Israeli regime uses artificial intelligence to increase civilian casualties in Gaza.
According to the International group of Pakistan News Network, an investigative report by an English-language magazine run by a group of Israeli and Palestinian journalists has revealed how the Zionist regime uses artificial intelligence to deliberately target civilians.
+972 magazine, which has been working since 2010 to prepare detailed and investigative reports on issues related to Israel and Palestine, wrote in a report published on Thursday: The IDF has adopted policies to increase its bank of civilian targets and, in addition, to adjust restrictions on attacks on civilians.
The magazine wrote that these investigations show that the adoption of these policies contributed to the lethality of one of the most severe Israeli military operations against the Palestinians since the Palestinian Day of Tribulation (Nakba Day) in 1948.
This research is based on interviews with seven current and former officials of Israel’s intelligence community, including military intelligence personnel and air force personnel of this regime, who played a role in Israel’s operations in Gaza. In addition, the statements of Palestinian eyewitnesses, the data and documents available in the Gaza Strip, and the statements of Israeli authorities have also been used in this research.
In the current war, which is called “Operation Iron Sword”, the Israeli regime has significantly targeted areas that are not military in nature. These targets include private residences, public buildings, infrastructure and tall towers.
Informed sources who have first-hand experience in Gaza bombings told +972 magazine that the main purpose of attacking these places is to harm the Palestinian civil society: It means creating a shock that will have heavy consequences and cause “civilians to put pressure on Hamas.”
Several sources, speaking on condition of anonymity, said the Israeli military has intelligence on a large number of potential targets in Gaza and has preconceived notions about how many casualties an attack on a location will cause.
+972 magazine wrote: “The executions and numbers have been calculated and the intelligence units of the Israeli army know about it in advance and even shortly before the attack they are sure how many civilians are going to be killed.”
In one particular case that one of the sources spoke about, Israeli army commanders knowingly authorized an attack to kill a senior Hamas military commander, which was known to kill hundreds of civilians.

One of these sources said: “Nothing happens by accident. When a three-year-old girl is killed in a house in Gaza, it is because someone in the army has decided that her death is of little importance. His life is the price that must be paid for Israel to aim somewhere. Everything is intentional. “We know exactly how much collateral damage there is in each house.”
According to this research, another reason for the high number of Israel’s bank of targets, as well as the widespread damage caused to the lives of civilians, is the widespread use of a system called “Habusura” or “Gospel” by the Israeli army. This system is designed to a large extent based on artificial intelligence and can generate a bank of targets automatically and at a speed that was not possible before. This artificial intelligence system, as one former intelligence officer described it, actually facilitates the work of “a factory of mass terror.”
According to the sources, the increasing use of artificial intelligence-based systems like Gospel allows the military to carry out large-scale attacks on residential houses where, for example, a low-ranking Hamas operative lives.
Despite this, Palestinian statements in Gaza indicate that since October 7, the Israeli army has attacked residential homes where no members of Hamas or other Palestinian groups were present. Such attacks sometimes deliberately lead to the death of all family members during that attack.
Sources cited by this analysis base say that in most cases, no military activity is directed from these houses that are bombed. One of the Israeli sources who criticizes this practice of the Israeli army said: “I remember always thinking that what would happen if the Palestinian militias wanted to bomb all of our family’s private homes on weekend nights when we go back to our homes to sleep?”
Another source said an Israeli intelligence officer told Israeli military officers after October 7 that the goal was “to kill as many Hamas operatives as possible.” This source said that in order to achieve this goal, the previous criteria to avoid harming civilians were simplified to a great extent.
The result of this procedure has been the unprecedented death of civilians in Gaza since October 7. More than 15,000 people have lost their lives in these operations so far. Base 972 writes that there are more than 300 families in Gaza that have lost at least 10 members of their families in the last two months. This figure is 15 times higher than that previously reported during Israel’s deadliest attack on Gaza in 2014.
One of these sources stated: “All these things happen against the protocol that the Israeli army used before. “There is a feeling that senior officials in the IDF are aware of their defeat on October 7 and are now preoccupied with the question of how to project an image of victory in the Israeli public opinion that will restore lost image.”
On October 7th, the Islamic resistance movement of Palestine, Hamas, in response to more than seven decades of occupation of Palestine and nearly two decades of siege of Gaza and imprisonment and torture of thousands of Palestinians, started the operation known as “Al-Aqsa Storm”.
This operation was one of the deadliest attacks against this regime. Hamas fighters penetrated into the occupied territories at several points of the border fences, attacked the villages and besides killing a large number of Israelis, captured a number of them.
In response to this operation, the Zionist regime launched heavy attacks against Gaza and put this area under complete siege. This regime has said that its goal with this operation is to destroy Hamas, however, many analysts even inside occupied Palestine doubt the feasibility of this goal.
Many Western and European personalities have stated in the past days that Hamas is an ideology and it is not possible to destroy it. For example, Josep Burrell, the European Union’s foreign policy official, said at a meeting in Barcelona a few days ago that Hamas is an ideology and it cannot be destroyed.
