Insisting on the continuation of the Gaza war and increasing international pressure on Netanyahu

international pressure

PNN – Despite widespread domestic opposition and protests and increasing international pressure on the Israeli regime due to the crimes committed in Gaza, the decision of Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu of this regime is still to continue the war, complete occupation, and settlement construction in the region.

According to the report of Pakistan News Network; while months have passed since the beginning of Israel’s military attacks on Gaza, growing evidence shows that this war is not only costly in human and international terms, but has also eroded Israel’s political, economic, and social structures from within.

What at first glance may be considered a war for “security” or “deterrence” has, in the final analysis, become a multi-layered crisis in which the military and the Zionist masses are at the forefront of its harm.

According to official data published in the media, more than 1,700 millionaires emigrated from the occupied territories last year, and economic growth has slowed significantly.

Estimates from the Central Bank of Israel indicate that if the war continues for just six more months, projected economic growth for next year will be cut by half a percentage point, and the debt-to-GDP ratio could exceed 71 percent, a worrying figure for a country with a small economy dependent on foreign aid.

In fact, it is based on specific reasons and evidence from within the Israeli regime that psychologists and economists say in one language that as the Gaza war continues, Israel will face a wave of mental disorders, capital flight, and reverse migration.

In addition to the internal problems of the occupied territories, Israel is also facing more legal and international pressures than ever before.

In this regard, French President Emmanuel Macron recently wrote on the social network “X” that Paris will officially announce its decision to recognize the state of Palestine at the UN General Assembly in September.

This comment by Macron, whose country hosts the largest Jewish community in Europe, has been welcomed by some countries and criticized by the Zionist regime and its supporters.

Israeli Knesset Speaker: Recognition of the State of Palestine is a great victory for Hamas

In an interview with an American media outlet, Amir Ohana, the speaker of the Israeli Knesset, described the statements made by some Western leaders about recognizing the state of Palestine as a “great victory for Hamas.”

In an interview with the American Newsmax network, Ohana said in a message addressed to French President Emmanuel Macron and British Prime Minister Keir Starmer, expressing his anger at the decision of Paris and London to recognize Palestine as an independent state: If you want to form a Palestinian state, establish it in London or Paris.

Ohana added: If recognition of the Palestinian state happens, it will mean a victory for Hamas.

Protests intensify in Israel against Netanyahu for releasing prisoners from Gaza

Israeli media reported widespread demonstrations in Tel Aviv and other parts of the occupied territories for the release of prisoners in Gaza, and confirmed that several people were arrested during the demonstrations.

Israeli Channel 12 TV reported that protesters blocked the main Ayalon Street near Tel Aviv, demanding the return of the prisoners.

According to the report, the demonstration was also accompanied by violence, and the police arrested three participants in the rally.

Consequences of the War: The Israeli Economy Shrank

As the domestic consequences of the Zionist regime’s war-making continue, news sources have reported the shrinking of the regime’s economy and dozens of prominent American economists have warned about the severe consequences of war-making for its economy.

According to a report by the Israeli Channel 13 TV, for the first time since the start of the war, the Israeli economy has shrunk by 3.5% in recent months.

In the latest warning abroad, the Israeli economic newspaper “Marker” wrote that 23 prominent economists from major universities in the United States and Europe, including a number of Nobel Prize winners in economics, have warned in an open letter addressed to Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu that the regime may face severe economic consequences, including European sanctions, a downgrade in economic ratings, capital flight, and a rapid exodus of skilled workers, especially in the technology sector.

Protests against Netanyahu continue and the Zionist opposition supports the protesters

The call by the families of Zionist prisoners drew hundreds of residents of the occupied territories to the streets in Tel Aviv and other cities. With the support of opposition leaders, the protesters blocked roads and held large rallies, demanding an end to the Gaza war, a prisoner exchange, and the overthrow of Netanyahu’s cabinet.

According to the Samaa news agency, Yair Labid, the head of the Zionist opposition, participated in the demonstration and said: The current cabinet has supported Hamas for years, and today’s protests are a manifestation of the spirit of solidarity and domestic responsibility of Israelis. The only real way to weaken Hamas is to bring down this inefficient and evil cabinet.

Benny Gantz, leader of the “Official Camp” party, also supported the protesters and said: Supporting the families of the hostages (Zionist prisoners) strengthens us, and attacking them weakens us.

Netanyahu: Israeli protesters are strengthening Hamas’ position

While thousands of Zionists have taken to the streets to protest the continuation of the Gaza war and to demand the release of their prisoners, the Israeli Prime Minister, in his first reaction to this protest movement, attacked the strike call, claiming that stopping the war without destroying Hamas would endanger the security of the regime and pave the way for a repeat of incidents similar to the Al-Aqsa storm.

Stating that Tel Aviv will only stop the war if its conditions are met, he added: Israeli security control over the Gaza Strip is one of our main conditions for ending the war. We are determined to disarm Hamas and will not allow this movement to rearm.

Former Chief of Staff of the Israeli Army: Netanyahu is leading Israel to the abyss of destruction

According to the Rai El Youm news agency, former Chief of Staff of the Israeli Army Gadi Eisenkot wrote in a post on his Facebook page: Israel has not achieved its goals in the war against the Gaza Strip, despite the passage of more than 680 days since October 7, 2023, while its soldiers are losing their lives inside Hamas tunnels.

Calling on Zionists to participate in the widespread strike, Eisenkot said: I call on all those who adhere to Israeli and Jewish moral values to join the protest of the families of the kidnapped soldiers and to raise their voices to the government (the Zionist government cabinet), because time is running out.
