Jerusalem Post: Israel lost the war

PNN – The Zionist newspaper “Jerusalem Post” wrote that the Israeli regime has lost the war against the Gaza Strip.

According to the report of Pakistan News Network, the Zionist newspaper Jerusalem Post added: None of Israel’s declared goals in the war in the Gaza Strip, including the destruction of Hamas and the return of prisoners from this area, have been achieved.

This newspaper wrote: Even occupying and dominating the city of Rafah, which contains dozens of large tunnels for smuggling weapons, ammunition, missiles, and cars, is not a victory for Tel Aviv.

The Jerusalem Post continued by asking the question, “Israel lost the war, but did Hamas win?”, and answered that, “It depends on our definition of victory?”

This newspaper wrote about this: We can definitely say that Hamas won on the 7th of October, the day it proudly challenged all Israeli military and intelligence institutions, attacked military bases and killed a number of soldiers, and then returned to Gaza after taking many prisoners.

The Jerusalem Post newspaper added: It can also be said that Hamas won the war by continuing its presence in the region as a power despite the destruction caused in the Gaza Strip by the Israeli army.

This newspaper also discussed the international impact of the Al-Aqsa storm operation and wrote: The most important of all these issues was that Hamas was able, after years of neglect, to bring Palestine back to the international map and to endanger Israel in the isolated and rejected world and the American project to create an alliance between Israel and the Arab countries.

This newspaper then raised the question whether it is reasonable for the Israeli regime to continue to pressurize to achieve its unachievable goals or to move towards attainable goals by changing its behavior.

Jerusalem Post stated: If the answer is to change behavior to move towards achievable goals, then Israel needs a new leadership because in the current cabinet, Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu has fallen into the trap of hard-line members of the cabinet who take the most extreme positions on domestic and foreign issues in every issue and they certainly do not want the end of this war. The new officials should come up with a plan to eliminate most of the effects of the Gaza war and improve Israel’s image and position in the world.

With the passage of more than eight months since the start of the Zionist regime’s incursion into the Gaza Strip without any results and achievements, this regime is sinking more and more into its internal and external crises day by day.

During this period, the Zionist regime has not achieved anything other than massacres, destruction, war crimes, violations of international laws, bombing aid organizations and imposing famine and starvation in this region.

The occupying regime has lost this war regardless of any gains in the future, and even after about eight months, it has not been able to force the resistance groups to surrender in a small area that has been under siege for years, and the support of the world public opinion for committing obvious crimes in Gaza has lost.
