PNN – The Israeli Prime Minister, while referring to the water crisis in Iran, has claimed “expertise” in dealing with drought, even though, according to global rankings, Israel is in a much worse situation than Iran in terms of water crisis.
Continuing his failed efforts to encourage the Iranian people to create chaos and internal unrest, Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu claimed in a video message referring to the water crisis in Iran that: “Israel is an expert in dealing with this crisis” (!) and called on Iranians to “take to the streets” to cause unrest and unrest; this claim was made while Israel is in a worse and more critical situation than Iran in the global “water tension” ranking.
In this video message, which was released with Persian subtitles, Netanyahu referred to the water, electricity, and inflation crises in Iran and called for “people to take to the streets and liberate Iran”!
In this message, he referred to recent statements by Iranian President Masoud Pezishkiyan, who said that “the country is facing problems related to electricity, water, and inflation,” and then, repeating the illusion of “collapse,” concluded that the situation in Iran is “collapsing.”

In another part of his video message, Netanyahu said that the people of Iran are not alone, claiming, “I am with you. Israel is with you. Soon your country will be free and there will be plenty of water!”
But regardless of the water imbalance in Iran, which is undeniable due to global climate change, let’s take a look at Netanyahu’s claim:
World Population Review
This organization operates completely independently of political parties and groups and is known as a reference for data, analysis, and observations on demographic issues, including the general census, as well as the evaluation and ranking of countries based on a wide range of areas. Its headquarters are located in California, USA.
The Prime Minister of the Zionist regime has claimed that “Israel is an expert in dealing with drought.” According to statistics and charts from the World Population Review, Israel is currently ranked ninth in terms of the severity of water stress, so to speak, in the “top 10.”
Explaining the water situation related to Israel, the organization wrote:
Israel ranks ninth in the world in terms of water stress. Severe climate change and droughts have worsened the water crisis in Israel since 2013. The Israel Water Authority announced just a few years ago that water resources such as rivers and lakes (in the occupied territories) are at their lowest level in 100 years. Treatment plants along the Mediterranean coast supply about 70 to 80 percent of Israel’s drinking water.
This is while Iran ranks 14th in terms of water stress. The World Population Review has ranked the severity of water stress from highest to lowest.
According to this ranking, Bahrain, Cyprus, Kuwait, Lebanon, Oman, Qatar, the United Arab Emirates, Saudi Arabia, Israel, and Egypt make up the “Top 10” in terms of the severity of water stress. According to statistics, Israel has a population of more than 9.5 million and Iran 92.5 million as of mid-year of this year.
Smotrich’s Drought Decree
In addition, Bezalel Smotrich, the Minister of Finance and Hardship in Netanyahu’s cabinet, recently signed a “drought” decree, which shows that the occupied settlements are facing serious climate challenges.
The Zionist website “Ynet” published this news on July 28, 2025, and wrote that this decision was made in cooperation with the Ministry of Agriculture and following the low rainfall last winter and severe heat waves.
Facts related to global water shortages according to the World Population Review report

* About half of the world’s population will likely live in water-scarce areas by the end of this year.
* By 2030, about 700 million people in the world will be forced to migrate due to severe water shortages.
* Nearly one in four children in the world will live in areas with severe water scarcity by 2040.
Earlier, on June 13, the first day of the Zionist regime’s 12-day aggression against Iran, Netanyahu once again incited Iranians to revolt against the regime; a call to which, of course, the Iranian people responded with an exemplary unity.
