Netanyahu’s priority is to fail negotiations and continue the war

PNN – Channel 12 of Zionist TV reported that Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu’s priority is the failure of negotiations to achieve a ceasefire and exchange of prisoners and the continuation of the war against the Gaza Strip.

According to the report of Pakistan News Network, Channel 12 of the Zionist regime said that Netanyahu emphasized to the members of the negotiating team of this regime that the issue of the Israeli regime’s army staying or withdrawing from the Saladin axis (Philadelphia) on the southern border of the Gaza Strip with Egypt is a political-strategic issue and only he can decide on it.

The channel added: There is not much chance for the negotiations to reach the agreement stage.

Channel 12 of the Zionist regime, quoting a source familiar with the negotiations, stated: Netanyahu gives priority to the continuation of the war instead of returning (Zionist prisoners from the Gaza Strip).

The media of the Zionist regime publish contradictory statements from the Prime Minister and War Minister Yoav Gallant about the ceasefire agreement.

On Sunday, these media reported unprecedented and growing differences between Netanyahu, Gallant and the members of the Zionist regime’s negotiating team regarding the agreement to establish a ceasefire and exchange prisoners.

According to the Zionist regime’s TV channel 12, Netanyahu has emphasized to the negotiating team of the Israeli regime that the issue of staying or withdrawing from the Philadelphia axis is a political-strategic issue and only he can decide on it.

** War Minister: Cabinet should decide on ceasefire

On the other hand, the Minister of War of the Zionist regime announced on Sunday that decisions on strategic issues should be made in the comprehensive cabinet and not the limited political and security cabinet.

Gallant said that all the powers of the (disbanded) War Council resided in the inclusive cabinet, and that it was the cabinet that had the authority to decide on weighty matters.

** Lapid: Netanyahu is looking for the failure of negotiations

Yair Lapid, the opposition leader of the Zionist regime’s cabinet, strongly criticized Netanyahu’s actions for the failure of negotiations and the possibility of reaching an agreement for the release of prisoners in the Gaza Strip.

He said that Netanyahu is seeking to deliberately destroy the opportunity to reach an agreement for the release of Zionist prisoners.

Lapid continued: If Netanyahu is looking to reach an agreement to return the hostages (Zionist prisoners), he should not issue a press release every three hours to make the work of the Israeli negotiating team difficult.

** Hamas: Netanyahu failed the Doha negotiations

The Palestinian Islamic Resistance Movement (Hamas) also announced in a statement on Sunday that the Prime Minister of the Zionist regime continues to obstruct the path of the agreement by setting new conditions and his aim is to defeat the efforts of the mediators and prolong the war.

Hamas added: The prime minister of the Zionist regime added other conditions to the clauses related to the exchange of prisoners and withdrew from some other clauses, and these measures prevent reaching an agreement for the exchange of prisoners.

The Hamas movement held Netanyahu responsible for the failure of the negotiations and the lives of the Zionist prisoners.

Earlier, a member of the political bureau of the Hamas movement said that the Israeli regime failed the new round of negotiations in Doha, Qatar, and there was no agreement on any of the disputed issues in these negotiations.

“Without a complete ceasefire, the withdrawal of the occupiers from the Gaza Strip, the return of refugees and the exchange of prisoners, there will be no agreement,” Hamad said.

This has caused widespread protests by the families of these prisoners in the occupied territories. While they are demanding an agreement with Hamas for the release of Zionist prisoners, Netanyahu, who is confident of being tried for corruption after the end of the war, blocks any agreement in this regard.
