Survey/ Extremism is the biggest concern of the American people

PNN – Extremism is the biggest concern of American voters, new polls show.

According to the report of Pakistan News Network, the results of new polls conducted by Reuters and Moses Ipsos show that extremism is the biggest concern of American voters.

About 21 percent of the participants in this three-day poll stated that political extremism or threats to democracy is the biggest problem facing America, followed by the economy with 19 percent and the issue of immigration with 18 percent.

According to this survey, Democrats consider extremism as their main concern, but Republicans generally consider immigration to be their main concern.

Additionally, 34 percent of poll participants believe Biden has a better vision for managing extremism, while 31 percent believe Trump can do it better.

Also, in this opinion, it was found that Joe Biden is more eager to participate in the elections and re-enter the White House, because of his opposition to Trump, he was nominated by the Democrats again.

In addition, Biden’s approval rating in this survey was 37 percent, which is close to the lowest approval rating during his presidency. 9 out of 10 Democrats approve of Biden’s performance and the same number of Republicans do not approve of his performance. Independent supporters also tend to disapprove of Biden’s performance.

Meanwhile, 44% of Democrats considered extremism to be their main concern, and 10% of them identified the economy as the second cause of concern.

Meanwhile, 38% of Republicans consider immigration to be the main issue of the country, and only 13% chose extremism. This shows that Trump’s claims about the danger to the country are opposed by far-left Democrats who are against this principle.

Also, 39 percent of participants said Trump has a better view of the economy, and 33 percent approve of Biden. Also, Trump with 36 percent has a better view of foreign wars than Biden with 30 percent, while Democrats and Republicans have slightly named these issues as national priorities.

Last year, “Alejandro Mayorkas”, the Secretary of Homeland Security of the United States, stated that the threats that the United States is facing after 21 years after the September 11 incident, have changed from concern about foreign terrorism to concern about domestic extremism.

Only 3 months after Trump’s supporters attacked Congress in January 2021, Mayorkas considered domestic extremism to be America’s greatest terrorist threat.

He is one of the many Democrats who have warned about the threat of domestic extremism in America.
