PNN – Abdulbari Atwan, one of the analysts of the Arab world, rejected the Zionist regime’s claim of shooting down 99% of Iran’s drones and missiles, and pointed out 5 reasons why Tel Aviv and its allies could not shoot down these missiles and drones.
According to the report of Pakistan News Network, “Abdul-Bari Atwan” wrote in Rai Al-Yum: Many in the Arab world and the Islamic world are waiting for Benjamin Netanyahu, the prime minister of the Zionist regime, to make his mistake of targeting the depths of Iran in response to the country’s successful and strategic missile and drone response to two Israeli bases in the Negev. If this mistake is made, Iran will act with supersonic missiles and highly advanced drones with very high destructive power. And perhaps the reaction to this mistake will be accompanied by the entry of the arms of the resistance axis into the arena, especially Hezbollah in southern Lebanon, Al-Hashd al-Shaabi in Iraq and Ansarullah in Yemen, of course, it is not unlikely that the Syrian army will also intervene.
Atwan added: Tehran’s punitive response destroyed Israeli and American deterrence and presented Iran as a country that confronts directly and not by proxy, and our proof and witness is its attack and not being afraid of Israeli and American threats.
He continued: If as these three countries claim, along with Tel Aviv and Jordan, they have shot down 99% of Iranian missiles and drones and the damage to the two airbases was very limited, then why are the authorities of the Israeli regime looking for a reaction and expose this regime to a much more devastating reaction from Iran? If this claim is true, then why aren’t journalists and TV channels allowed to visit these two bases after Iran’s direct attack?
Atwan wrote: Iran’s attack was successful for five reasons;

Zionist circles are deeply concerned about the full-scale entry of Hezbollah into the war
First: If 99% of these Iranian missiles and drones, as shown by live images, entered the occupied Palestinian airspace and millions of people in the West Bank and Gaza saw them with their own eyes. It was shot down and did not penetrate the American, French, British, Israeli and Jordanian barrier, so how did these missiles reach occupied Palestine?
Second: If these rockets did not reach the skies of occupied Palestine, why did hundreds of thousands of settlers flee to shelters in an unprecedented panic?
Third: Ronin Pergman, a member close to the Mossad, quoted a member of the Zionist regime’s war cabinet as saying: The destruction of these Iranian missiles and drones is very heavy and if any Israeli sees the scenes of this destruction, 4 million people will immediately flee from Israel.
Fourth: The emphasis of the French newspaper Figaro that Israel’s “Dahiyah Doctrine” has lost its effectiveness and is over after Iran’s attack deep into Israel. This is the same doctrine that the Israeli army put forward as a strategy for the targeted destruction of the southern suburbs of Beirut in July 2006, which includes pouring very heavy and disproportionate fire on the source of the threat and razing the infrastructure to the ground with the aim of inciting the popular base of resistance against it.
Fifth: Gilad Aran, the representative of the Zionist regime in the United Nations, announced that the attack carried out by Iran is a danger to Al-Aqsa Mosque, and the image of Iranian missiles passing over this mosque proves this issue. If 99% of the missiles have been intercepted, then how did these missiles reach the occupied Quds and the Negev air base?
Atwan wrote: According to received information, America contacted Iran through Arab mediators to allow Israel to carry out a fake attack on Iran’s targets to protect its reputation, and America requested Iran not to respond. However, the answer given by the Iranian Revolutionary Guards to the Swiss ambassador in Tehran was negative and it was emphasized that any Israeli attack, whether formal or informal, would be met with a crushing and much heavier response than the recent attack.
He added: True promise operation changed all the equations and heralded a new Islamic dawn, so that it would be a practical emphasis for Ayatullah Khamenei’s promise, “based on the fact that the resistance will not be defeated and that Gaza is not alone”, to the leaders of Hamas and Islamic Jihad, which was made a while ago in Tehran.
