PNN – Al-Jazeera channel presented a report on the prospect of the 2024 US presidential elections and described the political future of “Joe Biden” and “Donald Trump” candidates and the political parties supporting them in this competition as affected by many crises and challenges.
According to the report of Pakistan News Network, quoting from this news network, the suppression of student protests in support of the Palestinian people, the impeachment of Donald Trump, and political disputes over foreign aid and immigration have dominated the headlines in recent weeks. But apparently, in the coming months, the main topic of these newspapers will be the competition between Biden and Trump to reach the White House, which has already started this discussion among political analysts.
“Eric Nisbet”, a professor of political science at Northwestern University, believes that the topic of the election is not yet hot among the people, and usually they enter into this discussion from the end of summer, but by the way, this stage is important for the candidates so that they can gain a stronger base among the people.
Most polls show that as the election approaches, a tight race between Biden and Trump will form. Experts say the race will likely depend on how candidates perform in states like Michigan, Georgia and Nevada.
A recent Pew Research Center poll found that nearly half of registered voters said they would get both Biden and Trump off the ballot if they could find an alternative. About two-thirds of voters said they had little confidence that Biden was physically fit to be president, according to the poll, while a similar number said they did not believe Trump would be an ethical president.
