PNN – In a situation where the resolution passed by the US in the Security Council, by ignoring the rights of the people of Gaza, is advancing Zionist interests, there are several scenarios for the Palestinian resistance’s response to it.
According to the report of Pakistan News Network, citing Al Jazeera, as the US resolution on Gaza was approved by the Security Council; concerns about the violation of Palestinian rights have increased. The international arrangements for Gaza prioritize the disarmament of the resistance through a transitional international administration with broad powers. They also link the withdrawal of the Israeli army from Gaza to the stabilization of the security situation in the strip, meaning that the occupiers will remain a security actor in the Palestinian arena. This situation raises several questions about how the resistance will deal with the consequences of this resolution in the future.
The dangers of the US resolution for Gaza
Despite claims that the American resolution calls for consolidating the ceasefire agreement and easing restrictions on humanitarian aid to Gaza, Wissam Afife, an Arabic-language writer and political analyst, believes that the resolution carries serious risks, including:
– The internationalization of Gaza for many years and the continuation of the administration of this strip under the supervision of the institution called the “Peace Council”, which is included in the plan of US President Donald Trump.
– Destroying Palestinian power by disarming the resistance.

In this regard, Wissam Afife, an Arabic-language writer and analyst, has drawn up scenarios for the resistance’s response to the American project for Gaza, which include the following:
– Delegitimizing the US resolution at the Palestinian national and political level and emphasizing that this resolution is a foreign imposed project that lacks any broad Palestinian national consensus and is in no way a binding framework for the Palestinians’ vision and destiny.
– Establish a comprehensive national path to address the challenges that arise after this US resolution and restore Palestinian legitimacy based on resistance and historical rights.
Palestinian political analyst Iyad Al-Qura also believes that the Palestinian groups’ insistence on rejecting any clause related to the disarmament of the resistance and linking it to the end of the occupation is due to their unwavering position.
