How did the Golani Brigade officers fall into the ambush of Al-Qassam forces?
Over the past few days, bloody clashes have been going on in the Al-Shajaiyeh area in the north of Gaza between the resistance fighters and the Zionist military, which has caused significant casualties to the Israeli army.
Zionist sources reported that at least 10 Israeli soldiers were killed in fierce clashes in the Al-Shajaiyeh area since last night, most of them senior officers of the Israeli army, including one of the commanders of the Golani brigade.
Zionist military sources in explaining the bloody conflict that took place in the Al-Shuja’iyah area between resistance forces and Israeli soldiers reported that this conflict lasted for 3 hours and during that time several forces from the 53rd Golani Brigade entered buildings in this area and suddenly found themselves amid the conflict. They saw one of the ambushes of al-Qassam battalions, and then a bomb exploded in front of the door of one of the buildings, as a result of which 4 Israeli soldiers were injured.
These sources added: After that, it was suspected that these forces were captured and their connection with the army was cut off. Then a group of the support forces of the 669 rescue unit went to the mentioned building and after reaching there, they were targeted by al-Qassam forces and immediately 2 Israeli soldiers were killed in these clashes. Next, another group of Golani Brigade forces went to the building, whose commander was Colonel Ishaq Bin Bashat, who was killed in a clash with Al-Qassam forces after arriving.
