PNN – Egyptian experts and analysts explained the importance of the dimensions of the possible visit of the foreign minister of our country to Cairo.
According to the report of Pakistan News Network, Al-Arabi Al-Jadeed news site, referring to the imminent trip of “Abbas Araghchi” to Egypt, discussed the importance of this trip and sought the opinion of experts in this field.
“Abdullah Al-Ashael,” the former deputy foreign minister of Egypt, told Al-Arabi Al-Jadeed that Iran attaches great importance to Egypt and this is due to Egypt’s role in the region, especially in terms of negotiations and efforts related to the ceasefire between the Palestinian resistance in Gaza and the occupying regime over the past year. Due to the strong relations between the Israeli regime and Egypt, Cairo seeks to play a role in reducing the tension between Iran and this regime.
He said: I predict that this visit of the Iranian Foreign Minister will show the true value of Egypt and its role in the region.
Referring to the possibility of resuming diplomatic relations between Iran and Egypt, this former Egyptian diplomat added that these relationships may be resumed at any time and at a later stage, and this process requires a complete resumption of relationships. This event will take place in the near future in the shadow of regional developments.

Al-Ashal emphasized: Araghchi’s possible trip to Cairo is in line with the vital importance of consultations and diplomatic trips in Iran.
On the other hand, the deputy head of Iran’s Political and Strategic Studies Center said: Araghchi’s trip to Cairo at this critical juncture, when the region is on the brink of a big explosion, is a very important trip and this is a consultation between the two great countries of Iran and Egypt. This emphasizes the importance of Cairo’s role in the region and the possibility of reducing tension in the future.
Mokhtar al-Ghabashi added: Iran’s foreign minister will hold more consultations during this trip and the common points of the parties regarding the ceasefire and efforts to reduce tension will be discussed and exchanged.
He emphasized: This Iranian initiative to travel to Cairo is due to Iran’s efforts to explain the dangerous situation that Israel is seeking by attacking Iran.
“Al-Arabi Al-Jadeed” news site wrote on Saturday based on its information that the Iranian Foreign Minister will leave for Cairo on an official visit in the coming days and will consult with Egyptian officials about common cases and the approach of the two countries regarding developments in the region.
According to this website, Araghchi is going to meet and talk with President Abdel Fattah al-Sisi, the head of the intelligence agency, Abbas Kamel, and Badr Abdel Ati, the foreign minister of Egypt.
Based on this report, the discussion and review of the situation of the Red Sea region and Yemen, the developments in the Gaza Strip, the aggression of the Zionist regime in Lebanon, and also consultation on ways to stop the tensions are on the agenda of this trip.
According to Al-Araby Al-Jadeed, Araghchi is supposed to convey the written message of the President of the Islamic Republic of Iran, “Massoud Al-Madijian”, regarding the measures taken to calm the situation in the region (to the Egyptian authorities).
