The re-heating of the Ukraine crisis after about a year of stagnation/ There are two ways ahead for the West

PNN – “Abdolbari Atwan”, an analyst of international affairs, referring to the heating up of the Ukraine front, discussed the process of its developments and wrote that the crisis of this country has heated up again after almost a year of stagnation.

According to the report of Pakistan News Network, Atwan wrote in Ray Elium: The situation on the war fronts in Ukraine, after two years and three months since the start of the war, has witnessed the significant advances of Russia and the failure of Ukraine to regain the areas that the Russians have dominated in the southeast of this country next to the Crimean Peninsula.

He added: The involvement of America and the West in the Gaza war alongside the Israeli regime has played an important role in Ukraine’s failures. America and the West have given tens of billions and thousands of tons of weapons, ammunition and military equipment to this regime; The issue that has caused Volodymyr Zelensky, the president of Ukraine, to be unhappy because of this extensive and unhesitating support of the West to the Zionist regime.

This international affairs analyst continued: After two years of the war in Ukraine, everything that the United States had counted on did not come true, neither Russia has collapsed economically, nor disobedience and a coup d’état in the country’s army. It happened to overthrow the President of Russia, Vladimir Putin. The West now, as famous Russian analyst Alexander Nazarov said in his recent article, does not have two more ways ahead;

First, to acknowledge the defeat in Ukraine and raise the flag of surrender.

Second, to enter into a full-scale war led by NATO against Russia, which increases the possibility of using nuclear weapons, tactical or strategic. In particular, Dmitry Medvedev, the deputy head of the Russian National Security Council, threatened a few days ago that his country will turn to nuclear weapons if it is exposed to any Western attack from NATO or the Anglo-Saxon axis.

The war in Ukraine started due to the West’s inattention to Moscow’s security concerns and the expansion of NATO forces to the proximity of Russia’s borders. Moscow attacked Ukraine after ignoring its security concerns from the West, especially the United States.

In response to Russia’s attack on Ukraine, America and Western countries have imposed extensive sanctions against Moscow and sent billions of dollars in weapons and military equipment to Kiev. Despite the unprecedented sanctions and the West’s efforts to isolate Russia, the Kremlin has managed to keep its economy afloat in the war.
