PNN – Trump’s contradictory actions and policies in the Ukraine and Palestinian wars show that they are not actually seeking real peace, but rather seeking to line the pockets of American billionaires around the world.
According to the report of Pakistan News Network, anyone who wants to understand the Trump administration’s policy towards Gaza must have suffered a severe headache by now.
Trump first called for the expulsion of the Palestinian people from the Gaza Strip and the construction of a dream land called the “Riviera of the Middle East,” and now he is threatening the Palestinian people that he will raze the Gaza Strip to the ground if the Israeli hostages are not released.
His administration has expedited the transfer of $4 billion in additional American weapons to Israel, bypassing congressional approval. The weapons include the same 2,000-pound bombs sent by the Biden administration, a move that Trump has strongly criticized.
Trump’s contradictions don’t end there. Trump’s special envoy, Adam Boehler, was sent to the region to negotiate the release of several dozen Israeli hostages still being held in Gaza. He was allowed to break with 30 years of US foreign policy and meet directly with Hamas.

In a strange and unpredictable move, Buller calls Hamas the good guys, and amid the harshest criticism from Israeli officials, Buller said in an interview with CNN: They (Hamas) don’t have horns on their heads. They are very good kids.
Meanwhile, in another unprecedented move, Boler went on an interview with Israeli television networks to speak directly to Zionists living in the occupied territories. Boler said in an interview that Hamas had proposed a 5- to 10-year ceasefire with Israel.
The White House is doing something similar in Gaza to what it is doing in Ukraine: talking directly to Russia, closing the door on Ukraine’s NATO membership, publicly humiliating the Ukrainian president, while threatening Moscow with more sanctions and tariffs unless it agrees to a quick ceasefire.
According to common sense, the Trump administration aims to normalize inconsistencies, hypocrisy, lies, and deviation from the straight path.
While the Trump administration may play fast and loose with Washington’s political culture, it largely sticks to the traditional Western line on Israel and Palestine. It considers the Palestinians illegitimate, ignores their rights, and portrays them as anti-Semites. This applies not only to Hamas but also to the residents of the West Bank.
Despite the apparent contradiction, Trump’s approach to Ukraine and Gaza is the same. In both, he seems determined to end the war, but in both, he seeks his own interests.
Trump would rather make lucrative deals with Russian President Vladimir Putin over resources in both Russia and Ukraine than sink more money into a pointless war.
Trump would rather think about exploiting the vast gas reserves in the Gaza Strip than war. Make no mistake. They are not looking for peace; they are only looking to fill their own nests. They are looking for the same thing in Ukraine and Palestine. The agreement with Ukraine and Hamas may take different forms, but it is actually looking for the same thing, which is the pocket of Trump’s billionaire friends.
