US defeat against Yemen according to statistics; Washington’s retreat after scandal

PNN – 42 attacks by Yemeni forces on American ships in 52 days forced the United States to end the war with Yemen without achieving its goals in supporting the Zionist regime.

According to the report of Pakistan News Network, Al-Masirah News Agency reported on the statistical details of the second round of tension between the United States and Yemen, which began over 52 days on March 15 with the intensification of US attacks on various parts of Yemen and continued until May 7.  According to this report, interesting details were revealed regarding the extensive military clashes between the Yemeni armed forces and two American aircraft carriers, the USS Harry Truman and the USS Vinson, and their associated warships.

According to this report, on March 11, 2025, Sayyid Abdul Malik Badr al-Din al-Houthi, the leader of Yemen’s Ansar Allah, issued a four-day deadline to the Zionist regime, calling on it to open the Gaza crossings and allow humanitarian aid to enter the region.

With the end of this deadline and the continuation of the Zionist regime’s crimes in Gaza and the intensification of the siege of the region, Yemen once again resumed its military operations against the Zionist regime’s shipping in the Red Sea and began the siege of Zionist ports in response to the Zionist crimes and genocide in Gaza.

Immediately after this action, the United States launched a massive airstrike against civilian targets in Yemen, killing or wounding a number of Yemeni citizens in these attacks. In response to these attacks, the Yemeni armed forces immediately targeted the aircraft carrier Truman and its associated ships in the northernmost areas of the Red Sea, an operation that was completely different and more complex than the first round of fighting in the Red Sea. In the first round, it was only in the final days that American aircraft carriers were targeted by Yemeni forces; but in this phase, attacks on American aircraft carriers began from the very early hours.

On March 16, 2025, Yahya Saree, spokesman for the Yemeni Armed Forces, announced a joint Yemeni missile and drone operation against the Truman, which was carried out with 18 ballistic and cruise missiles and drones, marking a shocking beginning for the United States.

Statistics of the US-Yemen conflict

A: Aircraft carrier Harry Truman: During the second round of tensions between the United States and the Yemeni armed forces, 24 statements were issued by the Yemeni armed forces, reporting 42 attacks against American targets. According to statements by Yahya Saree, spokesman for the Yemeni armed forces, these forces engaged in 11 operations against the Truman in March.

In April, a total of 12 attacks were carried out, and these attacks resulted in fierce clashes between Yemeni armed forces and American marine units.

B: The Vinson aircraft carrier: The Vinson aircraft carrier was also attacked by Yemeni armed forces three times after entering the region on April 18, 21, and 22, and as a result of these attacks, it shifted to the depths of the Indian Ocean. The ship received another attack from Yemeni forces on April 30.

War tactics and its results

Repeated escapes of the Truman: Statements by the Yemeni armed forces state that the aircraft carrier Truman was repeatedly forced to retreat to the northernmost point of the Red Sea near the Suez Canal, perhaps to avoid being targeted by Yemeni forces. This area was where the Vinson and its associated warships were stationed in the Arabian Sea.

The most decisive attack, however, took place on April 28 and May 7. On April 28, the US Air Force acknowledged that the Truman was targeted by Yemeni missiles, and on May 7, the ship was targeted as a result of a Yemeni missile and drone attack, and a number of the ship’s F-18 fighters crashed into the sea.

Attack on Vinson: The attack on Vinson began on April 18 and was followed by four attacks to force the ship to retreat further into the Pacific. After the attack on Vinson, Truman returned to the area, where three American F-18s were lost in the attacks against the ship. The fourth attack on the Vinson forced the United States to sit at the negotiating table; negotiations that were mediated by the Omanis ended the US military attacks on Yemen without achieving its goals of supporting the Israeli regime’s shipping and lifting the regime’s naval and air blockade.
