PNN – An Arabic-language media investigated the positions of Saudi Arabia regarding developments in the region, especially the controversial plan of US President Donald Trump to relocate the residents of the Gaza Strip in the shadow of the wave of global opposition to this and wrote that the Saudi Crown Prince has expressed his firm opposition to this plan and is standing up to Washington’s pressure.
According to the report of Pakistan News Network, Rai Alyoum newspaper wrote on Tuesday in an article about the positions of Saudi Arabia regarding developments in the region, especially the Gaza Strip: What does Saudi Arabia want from Egypt, Jordan and the self-governing organizations? The good relationship between Trump and Saudi Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman is not an excuse for scoring points. For the first time, Riyadh used the literature of supporting stability in Gaza and the West Bank. Saudi Arabia insists on opposing the displacement of Palestinians from the mountain and will not normalize relations with Tel Aviv before the establishment of an independent Palestinian state.

Rai Alyoum newspaper continues its article: Prominent Saudi figures close to the crown prince’s office have recently sent messages to Egypt and Jordan and emphasized the stability of Saudi Arabia’s position against (opposition to) Trump’s plan to relocate Palestinians from Gaza or the West Bank, and that the official and firm position of Saudi Arabia is the same as stated in the two statements of the Saudi Foreign Ministry with the knowledge and instructions of Bin Salman.
Rai Al-Youm newspaper added: The Saudis have considered the positions announced through the statements of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs to be final and non-negotiable. Informed political sources in Washington considered the positions of Amman and Cairo in opposition to Trump’s plan to be supported by Saudi Arabia and that Bin Salman has personally announced to these two countries that he will fully support them against Trump’s plans.
These sources stated: Circles close to Bin Salman have announced to Jordanian and Egyptian politicians that the good relations between Trump and Bin Salman have nothing to do with the Palestinian issue. Because Saudi Arabia differentiates between its bilateral relations and interests with the Americans and between its positions on the Palestinian issue.
In the end, Rai Alyoum wrote: Saudi officials emphasize that the Saudi ceiling is still a document of the Arab compromise plan and opposition to the displacement of Palestinians and not moving towards normalization with Tel Aviv before the establishment of an independent Palestinian state.
