Why did the Israeli army think of withdrawing from Gaza?

PNN – The Zionist army, which claimed that it could achieve a large part of its goals in the war and free the Israeli prisoners with ground operations in Gaza, has now decided to withdraw its forces from this area and is talking about the end of the ground maneuver.

According to the report of the International group of Pakistan News Network, after the sources of the Zionist regime announced that the army of this regime is seeking to end ground operations in the Gaza Strip and withdraw its forces from this region. Regional military experts assess that the reason for this decision of the Israeli army is the lack of any military prospects for the Zionists in Gaza.

Military and strategic affairs analyst “Faez Al-Daweiri” said in a conversation with Al-Jazeera network in this regard in addition to the lack of prospects for the realization of Israel’s military goals in Gaza, economic pressures and changes in Israeli public opinion as well as international positions have made the Zionists unable to continue the war.

He emphasized that the continued escalation of tensions in the field is the result of the gap between the political plans presented by the two sides of the war: So far, there is no prospect of resuming negotiations, and the Hamas movement has emphasized that no negotiations will take place until the complete cessation of Israeli aggression. Israeli prisoners in Gaza are a trump card for Hamas and the resistance forces, and therefore Hamas will never burn this card.

Al-Dawiri added: It is expected that the clashes will continue fiercely; Because the occupying regime no longer has any cards and therefore will try to do everything to pressure Hamas to return to negotiations for the exchange of prisoners. The third phase of the ground operation in Gaza that the Israelis are talking about is already a failed project and they will be forced to retreat again.

This regional military affairs analyst continued: Even if the forces of the occupying army organize themselves and create the buffer zone they are talking about, they will never be able to complete their security and stability in the areas where they will be deployed and will have to retreat again.

He clarified: There is also information about disobedience in some units of the Israeli army, which shows that a group of soldiers refuse to enter the battlefield.

Previously, the Israeli television channel 11 announced that the Israeli army is preparing to end ground operations in the Gaza Strip within the next few weeks, and the third phase of the war includes reducing the number of forces, forming a buffer zone and continuing concentrated attacks.

This is while the Palestinian resistance has no intention of retreating and has emphasized that it will not release the Zionist military prisoners before the release of all Palestinian prisoners from the enemy prisons, and that no negotiations will be held regarding the exchange of prisoners before the establishment of a complete ceasefire in Gaza.

Field reports show that Israel did everything it could to gain military success in the Gaza war, and now it has failed to find a political and military solution to get out of this quagmire. Observers believe that all the evidence points to the erosion of the Gaza war, and even if this war lasts for a few more months, it will not change its situation, and it is in Israel’s interest to get out of this war as soon as possible.
