The Zionists’ new deceptive maneuver in the ceasefire case
Analysts believe that the occupiers’ demand for the disarmament of the resistance in the Gaza Strip is part of the Zionist regime’s deceptive policy to continue the genocidal war against the Gaza Strip and prolong this war, because it knows that the Palestinian side will not agree to the disarmament of the resistance. In fact, this Zionist request is more than a negotiation tactic, and its goal is to confuse Palestinian negotiators and lower the ceiling of their demands.
According to observers, the Zionist demand for the disarmament of the resistance as a condition for ending the Gaza war means that the goal of the occupying regime and its American backer is to continue the war, not to end it. This also means that the Zionists and Americans want to continue the killing, destruction, and displacement in Gaza, and there is no plan for a ceasefire and an end to the war.
Hamas reiterated its firm position that any future agreement must lead to a permanent ceasefire, the complete withdrawal of the occupying forces from the Gaza Strip, a real deal for the exchange of prisoners, and the beginning of a serious process to rebuild the ruins and lift the unjust siege on the people of Gaza.

In this context, Sami Abu Zuhri, head of Hamas’ political office abroad, said that disarmament of the resistance is out of the question and will never happen. As long as the occupation exists, the weapons of resistance will remain, because these weapons are for the protection of the Palestinian nation and national rights.
Zionist goals of emphasizing the disarmament of the resistance
In this regard, Iraqi writer and political analyst Laqa Makki stated: What the Zionist regime really wants is not the disarmament of the resistance as a condition for ending the war; rather, it is to create excuses to continue the war with the aim of killing and displacing more Palestinians.
He added: In fact, the Zionist regime’s problem is not with the resistance in Gaza, but with Gaza itself, and it wants to empty this strip of its inhabitants. The regime raised the idea of ​​disarming the resistance because it knew that this was not possible and would be rejected. The occupiers also know that even if Hamas is not in Gaza, a greater resistance will emerge from the ruins of Gaza.
The Iraqi analyst clarified: Therefore, the occupying regime wants to expel the people who created the resistance from Gaza. The war that is currently underway in Gaza is a war of attrition and futility, and the only party that should stop it is Israel itself. Continuing the killing and brutality will tire the murderer until he becomes a monster that eats itself.
Ali Abu Marzouk, an Arabic-speaking political analyst, said for his part: The proposal to disarm the resistance in Gaza is nothing more than a sick joke, because there are no heavy weapons in Gaza, and the resistance in Gaza does not have any advanced aircraft, fighters, tanks, or artillery. Gaza’s weapons are classified under international law as light defensive weapons or police weapons, including explosives, RPGs, small rockets, and so on.
The Arabic-speaking political analyst noted: The occupying regime only wants to continue the killing and genocide in Gaza and exaggerates the weapons of the resistance as if these weapons were nuclear missiles.
Iraqi analyst Laqa Makki recalled the US attack on Iraq and stated: At that time, the United States asked Iraq to hand over weapons of mass destruction, even though these weapons did not exist at all, and ultimately a devastating war was launched against Iraq under the pretext of the existence of such weapons.
He added: The Zionists are also using the issue of disarming the resistance as leverage to obtain more concessions from Hamas during negotiations.
