PNN: Director General of the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR), Lt. Gen Ahmed Sharif Chaudhry, visited leading educational institutions in Lahore, where he held interactive sessions with students and faculty on national security and emerging challenges.
According to an official statement, the DG ISPR visited Aitchison College, the University of Engineering and Technology Lahore, and Lahore College for Women University.
During the sessions, discussions focused on national security issues, the evolving nature of hybrid warfare, and the role of youth in addressing contemporary challenges. Lt. Gen Chaudhry highlighted the importance of intellectual preparedness and unity in confronting both conventional and non-conventional threats.
University leaders, faculty members and students expressed confidence in the professional capabilities of the Pakistan Armed Forces. Participants noted that the discussions provided valuable insight into current security dynamics and strategic affairs.
Educators emphasised that in times of national need, academic institutions and their communities would stand alongside the armed forces in defence of the country.
Students described the sessions as informative, saying they enhanced their understanding of modern intellectual and strategic warfare while fostering a sense of national awareness and responsibility.
Officials termed the engagement between the Pakistan Army and educational institutions an important initiative aimed at strengthening trust, awareness and confidence among the youth. Participants also expressed unity against adversaries and pride in the defensive capabilities of the armed forces.
