PNN – The speakers at the conference of the Institute of Political Studies in the capital of Pakistan emphasized: the two-state solution in the occupied territories due to the racist and colonial nature of the Zionists. It is unworkable and the Palestinian issue can only be solved by dismantling the Zionist project.
According to the report of Pakistan News Network, The seminar “Analyzing the Palestinian issue and the way forward for peace” was hosted by the Institute of Political Studies (IPS) in Islamabad and was attended by Sami Al-Arian, the director of the Center for Islamic and Global Studies from Sabahtein University, Istanbul, Khaled Rahman, the head of the Institute of Political Studies, and Seyed Abrar Hossein the former ambassador of Pakistan in Afghanistan was one of the main speakers of this program.
The speakers of this program emphasized: The result of the conflict between the occupying regime of Israel and Palestine has caused the issue of the liberation of Jerusalem and the formation of an independent Palestinian state to be raised as an existential question even for the Zionists themselves.
According to these experts, the prolongation of the Palestinian conflict reveals the failures and strategic weaknesses of the Zionist regime, and at the same time, it has led to a global discussion about the settler-colonial Zionist ideology.
Sami Al-Erian said in this seminar: Zionist leaders are looking for domination and rule and will not allow any government to do something that may be perceived as a threat to them.
He emphasized: Dismantling the Zionist system is never equal to opposing the Jews based on their faith, but rather resisting the aggressors and the oppressive system to ensure that the legitimate struggle of the oppressed nations is focused on justice.
He pointed out that the Israeli regime openly armed extremist elements and settler Zionists, implemented policies aimed at subjugating the Palestinians and forced them to accept the occupation, leave or face death.
Sami Al-Erian continued: The Palestinian resistance front’s steadfastness has challenged the long-term and unilateral domination of the Israeli regime. This was especially evident when the military superiority of this regime in securing military and political goals in Gaza decreased.
Khalid Rahman, head of the Institute of Political Studies in Islamabad, also said: The Gaza war and its related developments in the Middle East challenged the existence of traditional power; although some global monitoring bodies did not show any action in addressing these challenges, the right of veto in the United Nations Security Council was also abused.
Emphasizing the independence of the Islamic Ummah and its role in actively shaping the discourse of the peace path for Palestine, he noted: The real test lies in the concerted efforts of Muslims to influence global perception of the Israeli regime’s conspiracy and strengthen the cause of resistance in Palestine.
